Here Are Our Recommended Bets for Week 9

Against the Spread

Packers (-3) @ Chargers – (Our AI system predicts the Packers to win by 13) – Aaron Rodgers has looked unstoppable this year. That will continue this week against the Chargers, especially if Davante Adams is able to return this week. The Chargers fired their offensive coordinator on Monday. They barely average 70 rush yards per game which has forced Rivers to throw the ball almost 40 times a game. Dark times could be ahead for the Chargers since their defense has been just as disappointing. They allow almost 8 yards per pass which likely continue seeing as they get to face Rodgers.

Patriots (-3.5) @ Ravens – (Our AI system predicts the Patriots to win by 5) – The Patriots have the best defense in the NFL and arguably one of the best defenses in NFL history. Going into week 9, the Patriots have outscored their opponents by 189 points (that’s an average margin of victory of 23.6 points per game). Belichick is going to limit Lamar Jackson’s running in order to keep him in the pocket. The Ravens will provide a good test but won’t come out on top.

Straight Up

Vikings (-2) @ Chiefs – (Our AI system predicts the Vikings to win by 1) – With the status of Patrick Mahomes still questionable it is likely that we will see Matt Moore as the starting QB on Sunday. The Vikings defense will give Moore a long day in the office. It might not be a blowout, but the Vikings will get a tough road victory.

Buccaneers @ Seahawks (-5.5) – (Our AI system predicts the Seahawks to win by 2) – The Buccaneers are 31st in the NFL in opponents pass yards per game but have a top ranked rush defense. The Seahawks will look to run the ball early before relying on Russell Wilson to put points on the board. Seattle’s defense has struggled a little as of late, but look to see them turn it around in and force some turnovers.

Lions @ Raiders (-2.5) – (Our AI system predicts the Lions to win by 6) – Both the Raiders and Lions can throw the ball well (Detroit has the advantage being a top 5 ranked passing offense). They both have terrible passing defenses too (Oakland ranks 30th and Detroit ranks 32nd). While the Lions are the better team on paper, both teams have been wildly inconsistent so far this season. It is likely going to be a shootout between the two QB’s with Matthew Stafford coming out on top.
