Game 6 of the NBA Eastern Conference semi-finals series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics is set for tonight, Thursday May 13th at 8:00 PM EST, and takes place at TD Garden in Boston. The Celtics lead the series 3-2 after they put a 120-88 routing on the Cavs Tuesday night in Cleveland. The home team has only won 2 of the 5 games in this series, and the Cavs are desperately going to try and continue that trend, as they look to take things back to Cleveland for a deciding game 7. The story of game 6 was surrounding Lebron James, who had one of his worst NBA playoff starts, finishing with just 15 points as he went 3 for 14 shooting. The Celtics three stars, in Garnett Peirce and Allen, combined for 64 points in the victory. Boston should realize how big of a game tonight’s will be, as they were up 3-2 to Orlando in round 2 last year and blew both game 6 and 7 for the early playoff exit. Shutting down Lebron James will be the key again tonight for the Celtics, and it will be very interesting to see how the leagues MVP bounces back from a rather embarrassing performance on Tuesday. No doubt this game 6 will be an exciting one! Cavs vs Celtics Game 6 NBA betting odds, picks and my predictions for betting the game can be found below.

Cavs vs Celtics Picks and Predictions for Game 6:
Spread/Money Line Prediction – The oddsmakers have this set with Boston favored (like expected), but I will tell you why I like the Cavs in tonight’s game. Lebron James put up 15 points on Tuesday and only 22 points in game 4, which were both losses. If Boston can hold Lebron to under 25 points I think they could win the game, but the problem is they won’t be holding the back to back MVP down in this elimination game. Lebron will be out to prove something tonight and he will get it done. The Cavs are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games as a road underdog, and in this series the favorite has only covered the spread once. This will no doubt be a close game, but I can’t see Boston locking King James down for a third straight game. The play here tonight will be taking the 1.5 points on the spread rather than betting the money line. Bet on the CAVS +1.5.
Over Under Prediction – With the line set at 194.5 it marks the second highest game total line for this series. With the line set at 195 in game four the game went under the posted total. It seems the tighter these games have been the lower scoring the game is. With elimination from the playoffs at stake look for the Cavs to D up hard. I have this game as a 96-94 final, and will be going with the under tonight. Bet on the UNDER 194.5.
