Hawk Talk

Iowa Hawkeyes LogoLuke Garza is totally living up to all the accolades he has received in the preseason magazines and polls as he has 29.3 points and 10.8 rebounds in his first four. It’s an embarrassment of riches in experience and talent for coach Fran McCaffery as his 3-point game also has picked up where it took off a year ago. The Hawkeyes shoot 40.2 percent from three as Joe Wieskamp checks in with 11 makes while CJ Fredrick and Jordan Bohannon have 10 each. Iowa has defended the three well also as opponents make only 29.3 percent of those triples.
