NASCAR makes a stop in Richmond for the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway for 0.75 miles of racing. Richmond is always an entertaining tight race that doesn’t give drivers much room for error. TheSportsGeek brings you the latest NASCAR Richmond odds for this Sunday.

We are coming off a road course on the schedule at COTA in Austin. Road racing isn’t for everyone, especially NASCAR fans, but it’s a nick break up from a typical oval.
A lot of old-time NASCAR fans probably won’t care much for road courses, but NASCAR is looking for young fans who are gravitating towards F1.
If we can beat the NASCAR Richmond betting odds, it will make for a good Sunday on the racetrack. According to Bovada, Chase Elliott is the favorite to win at +800, though there isn’t a clear favorite at Richmond Raceway this weekend.
Going into Richmond, Elliott leads the NASCAR standings with 208 points. He doesn’t have a win, but his consistency is paying off early in the season. Elliott has a 13-point advantage on Ryan Blaney for the lead.
Previous Winners at Richmond Raceway
Alex Bowman and Martin Truex Jr. won the two Richmond races last year. Truex Jr. won most recently in September after starting 3rd on the grid.
Bowman won the Toyota Owners 400 last year as a small underdog on the NASCAR Richmond odds. He came from 24th in qualifying to the front to lead 39 laps at Richmond last April.
Other than Bowman and Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski is the only other driver to win in the last five races here.

NASCAR Richmond Betting Odds
There are four drivers with NASCAR odds for Richmond from +800 to +900 to win the Toyota Owners 400. In other words, there isn’t much agreement over who the leading candidates should be.
The oddsmakers have to believe that he might be due despite never winning at Richmond before. He is going to get to Victory Lane eventually considering his form, but there might be better value.
Odds | Driver | Team |
---|---|---|
+800 | Chase Elliott | Hendrick Motorsports |
+850 | Kyle Larson | Hendrick Motorsports |
+900 | Kyle Busch | Joe Gibbs |
+900 | Martin Truex Jr. | Joe Gibbs |
+1000 | Joey Logano | Penske |

+1100 | Denny Hamlin | Joe Gibbs |
+1100 | Ross Chastain | Trackhouse |
+1200 | Ryan Blaney | Penske |
+1800 | Ryan Blaney | Penske |
+1200 | Tyler Reddick | Richard Childress |
+1400 | Christopher Bell | Joe Gibbs |
+1600 | Kevin Harvick | Stewart-Haas |
+1800 | Alex Bowman | Hendrick Motorsports |
Martin Truex Jr. (+900)
It’s hard to keep Martin Truex off the shortlist at Richmond Speedway. He likes Richmond and has to be happy to see it on the schedule this weekend.
He has finished 3rd, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 5th, 1st in his previous six trips to Richmond. It’s been a solid campaign for Truex thus far this season.
He has 172 points and is seventh-best in the NASCAR standings going into Richmond. Truex is coming off two top-10 performances at Atlanta Motor Speedway and COTA.
Denny Hamlin (+1110)
The value is strong with Denny Hamlin at Richmond Speedway. His NASCAR Richmond odds to win at +1110 must be considered on Sunday afternoon.
Hamlin has finished in the top-10 in 10 of his previous 12 attempts at Richmond Speedway. He enjoys 0.75 miles and has to be considered on Sunday afternoon.
Going into Richmond, Hamlin is 22nd with 108 points. It’s been a sour start to this campaign for Hamlin, but Richmond could be what he needs to turn this season around.
Kevin Harvick (+1600)
Kevin Harvick is another driver that hasn’t had the most ideal start this season. Harvick is 14th in the NASCAR standings with 153 points. Besides Daytona and Atlanta, Harvick hasn’t been that bad, though.
He started off the season with a tough performance, finishing 30th in the Daytona 500. However, Harvick hasn’t finished worse than 12th in four of five races since then.
Expect Harvick to be a likely contender on Sunday in this event.
NASCAR Toyota Owners 400 Prediction
All of the drivers on my shortlist are worth a look to win at Richmond Speedway on Sunday. It’s hard to overlook Martin Truex Jr. in this field in the first race of April, though. Richmond is one of his favorite tracks, and the results speak for themselves.
After finishing 3rd, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 5th, 1st in his last six outings at Richmond, his NASCAR Richmond betting odds look generous to win at +900. He should probably be the favorite to win on Sunday.
