2022 RBC Heritage Betting Odds and Predictions

2022 RBC Heritage Betting Odds and Predictions

The RBC Heritage is known as the tournament after the Masters. If you have a Masters hangover, then the RBC Heritage Classic should provide some relief. We have the latest RBC Heritage odds at TheSportsGeek.

No, you will not find the winner of the Masters at Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina. Scottie Scheffler is taking the week off after a dominating performance at Augusta National last week. I had a Scheffler ticket in the Masters, so there is no stress going into South Carolina.

It would have been more surprising if Scheffler was playing the RBC Heritage after winning the Masters. Scheffer was in command throughout the tournament and didn’t collapse in the final round.

For a minute there, it looked like Scheffler might be the next victim of choking on Sunday. Scheffler held strong and fended off a surging Rory McIlroy to win by three strokes.

McIlroy woke up on Sunday and decided to go god mode at Augusta National. He shot -8 and almost pulled off a thrilling comeback, but just ran out of track.

Please Note:
Opting to play the RBC Heritage are Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson, and Cameron Smith. While Scheffler and McIlroy will not be in South Carolina, this field is filled with good talent.

Who is going to beat the RBC Heritage odds? We will do our best to find winning golfers on the RBC Heritage odds board that look like the best bets.

RBC Heritage Betting Odds

At first glance, there aren’t many surprises on the RBC Heritage odds board. This looks about on track with what I would apply if I were an oddsmaker. There may just be some that are too overvalued to consider, though.

ANY VALUE WITH MORIKAWA AS THE RBC HERITAGE FAVORITE?
Collin Morikawa has been overpriced the last few weeks. He’s always a hot bet, and it’s going to be no different as the favorite on the RBC Heritage odds. Bettors will gravitate towards his odds to win at +1200, the best in the tournament, but there is better value.

Morikawa is certainly a fine golfer and ranked the highest in the RBC Heritage without Scottie Scheffler entering this event.

He is No. 2 with No. 5 Cameron Smith, the next highest-ranked golfer this weekend in South Carolina.

Jon Rahm and Viktor Hovland are not participating at Harbour Town in South Carolina, removing the No. 3 and No. 4 ranked players in the world.

RBC Heritage Best Odds

Matt Fitzpatrick (+2000)

Matt Fitzpatrick must be on your shortlist for the RBC Heritage. He’s not going to get the most attention on the RBC Heritage betting odds board.

But his odds to win the RBC Heritage look like a good value.

The more people that sleep on Fitzpatrick offer us better RBC Heritage odds. Fitzpatrick has been a model of consistency in 2022 and is likely going to be lurking at Harbour Town.

He has finished in the top-10 in four of his last six outings and top-14 in six of his previous seven tournaments.

Holding his own at Augusta National, Fitzpatrick finished T14 with a final score of +2. He had a quality last round to shoot -2 to improve his take home from the purse.

Please Note:
Fitzpatrick arrives at a course he’s familiar with and in good form. Fitzpatrick was playing Harbour Town and has found success even before appearing on the PGA Tour.

In three attempts since 2018, he’s finished T4 and T14 twice. Fitzpatrick has to be considered a major threat with his odds to win the RBC Heritage.

Joaquin Niemann (+3300)

PROVE THE ODDSMAKERS WRONG?
Joaquin Niemann is catching terrific odds to win the RBC Heritage this weekend. This is a golfer where I believe the oddsmakers are forgetting about them. Niemann should be in the +2500 to +2000 range against this field.

He came on strong in the early rounds of the Masters last week, but weakened down the stretch to T35. Niemann followed the Tiger Woods blueprint.

The Chilean doesn’t have a win that far back:
As Niemann won the Genesis Invitational in February. From November on, Niemann was in confident form. He finished in the top-6 in three of five tournaments before finishing T22 at The Players.

On his first trip to Harbour Town in 2022, Niemann finished T5 with a final score of -20. This likely isn’t going to be an easy tournament for Niemann, but at +3300, he has to be worth a look to win the RBC Heritage.

Shane Lowry (+2000)

Shane Lowry is coming off the best Masters performance out of this field in the RBC Heritage. He was consistent through four rounds and didn’t crumble like some other players under pressure.

NOT BOTHERED BY THE STRESS
For a guy as laid back as Lowry, it’s hard to make him crack. He finished T3 after shooting a final score of -5. Lowry had a nice Sunday with a fourth-round score of -3 to earn a nice payday at Augusta National.

The Irishman has been stalking and is likely going to find his tournament soon. He is 2, T13, T12, T3 in his last four going into South Carolina.

Please Note:
Lowry is second on the PGA Tour in scrambling since November. He also hasn’t hated coming to Harbour Town. Lowry has been close at this course in the past, finishing T3 in 2019 and T9 last year.

With Lowry’s odds to win the RBC Heritage at +2200, he looks like one of the best bets on the board in South Carolina this weekend.
