2022 LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster Odds and Predictions

2022 LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster Odds and Predictions

LIV Golf is back this weekend and it’s another US event after playing in Portland a month ago. This is the third LIV Golf tournament on the schedule and TheSportsGeek has the latest LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster odds and predictions.

The tournament is played at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster from Friday to Sunday. This is a change from the previous two LIV Golf tournaments. At London and Portland, the tournament began on Thursday and concluded on Saturday.

Note: there are only three rounds in LIV Golf tournaments.

Along with being three rounds, this is a shotgun-style tournament with players beginning their rounds at the same time. You either love or hate shotgun tournaments.

Brendan Grace Strikes
After Charl Schwartzel won at LIV London, Branden Grace won in an upset on a thrilling final day at Pumpkin Ridge. He shot -13 to par to edge away from Carlos Ortiz, who finished at -11. Dustin Johnson faded to -9 down the stretch after a promising couple of days.

Trump National New Jersey is a 71-par course covering 7,591 yards. There is a staggering $25-million purse available. The 2022 PGA Championship was originally planned to take place at Bedminster, but the tournament was moved to Southern Hills Country Club.

As is customary for LIV Golf, this tournament features a 48-player field. That’s another unique twist that LIV uses in their tournaments. Every event has 48 players, and with PGA players continuing to transfer to LIV, it’s going to make it tougher for the lesser-known players to qualify.

Head below for the best LIV Golf Invitational Bedminister odds from Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. If you are in the market for a LIV Golf sportsbook, take a look at our top golf betting sites, which will have LIV Golf Invitational betting odds for this weekend.

LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster Betting Odds

For the third straight week, Dustin Johnson is the betting favorite to win. He was the favorite at LIV London and LIV Portland. Johnson struggled in Portland, but he was the best player for a good portion of the tournament at Pumpkin Ridge in Portland.

Branden Grace was too good down the stretch and didn’t give Johnson an opportunity in the final round.

The public will continue to bet on Johnson until he wins a tournament at LIV. If you are chasing Johnson, you may be down by the end of the LIV season, though. Oddsmakers aren’t giving him the best prices, and his LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster odds continue this trend.

He is listed at +550 to win LIV Bedminster in New Jersey. Johnson is in the clear over Bryson DeChambeau, who has LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster odds to win at +800.

DeChambeau or Johnson? I prefer Johnson, but at +550 there is no value in that bet. If you were to be him at +550 every tournament this season, you’re likely going to be down. There is better value on the LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster odds board.

LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster Picks

Sam Horsfield (+4000)

Sam Horsfield is a pure value pick to win at LIV Bedminster. He is one of the longshots in the field, but might give this one a good go in New Jersey. Horsfield has been in majors on the PGA Tour recently.

Horsfield missed the cut at The Open, US Open, and PGA Championship. However, he won the Soudal Open on the DP World Tour in May, along with a solid showing for T4 at the Dubai Desert Classic.

He didn’t have a bad performance at LIV Portland to finish T11 in the second event this season. Horsfield also had a good run at LIV London in the opener of the LIV Golf Tour.

Horsfield shot a -3 to par to finish 5th in the field. An American and three South Africans finished ahead of Horsfield, with Schwartzel ultimately winning the tournament.

Does Horsfield win at Trump National? It’s possible and at +4000 to win, that’s some serious value that has to be considered this weekend.

LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster Odds

Abraham Ancer (+1400)

Abraham Ancer doesn’t quite have odds like Sam Horsfield to win, but this is another golfer to circle for LIV Bedminster. Unlike Horsefield, Ancer has performed well in recent majors.

He had a solid showing at the PGA Championship for T9 in Tulsa. More recently in The Open at St. Andrews, Ancer finished T11.

Ancer has finished at least T11 in four of his previous nine tournaments, including his first LIV event at Pumpkin Ridge in Portland. He’s come close on the PGA Tour several times since 2021.

The 31-year-old native of McAllen, Texas representing Mexico finished 5th at the Valspar Championship, runner-up at the Wells Fargo Championship, 4th at the Travelers Championship, and won the FedEx St. Jude Invitational last year.

Ancer had a good run at the Dell Technologies Match Play in March. He finished T5 and had a good chance at winning the tournament. Following a strong performance at The Open, look for Ancer to be in the mix on Sunday at Bedminster. His LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster betting odds make him worth considering.
