NCAA College Football Week 13 Betting Trends For The Top Games

We are nearing the end of the regular season schedule in college football. Rivalry Week is one of the most exciting weeks of the campaign. This and conference championship weekend are my favorite weeks in college football.

It’s all rather bittersweet, though, because it means that the college football season is coming to a conclusion soon. Fortunately, there’s bowl season coming up, which essentially means college ball every day during the holiday season.

I made a good profit during the bowls last year, so hope to duplicate that success. Rivalry Week features two of the most highly anticipated games of the regular season. The Game and Iron Bowl are both scheduled for this weekend.

Ohio State will seek to make life more miserable for Jim Harbaugh in Ann Arbor on Saturday afternoon, while Auburn looks to ruin the season for Alabama and bump them out of the College Football Playoff.

Alabama has played a long step behind Georgia this season. When it comes down to one game in the SEC Championship, all of that goes out the window, though. It’s who plays a better game on that day.

We have the top betting trends for the biggest games in Rivalry Week. Head below for betting trends for the top games in Week 13.

Mississippi Rebels (No. 9) vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs

Date and Time: November 25, 7:30 p.m. EST

Odds Courtesy of BetOnline

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Ole Miss Rebels +2.5 (-110) +115 Over 64 (-110)
Mississippi State Bulldogs -2.5 (-110) -135 Under 64 (-110)

The Egg Bowl is on Thanksgiving evening at Mississippi State University in Starkville. It should be a good matchup against two even teams. There isn’t a lot separating Ole Miss and Mississippi State this season.

Ole Miss and Mississippi State both have fun offenses that should make for an interesting game. The Rebels are fifth in the country with 517.4 yards per game behind star quarterback Matt Corral.

Mike Leach’s air raid isn’t too far behind, as the Bulldogs are 22nd with 452.3 yards a game. Their offense is tough to stop through the air, with the Bulldogs accumulating 390.2 yards per game for third in the FBS.

Ole Miss Rebels vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs Betting Trends:

Ole Miss

Cincinnati Bearcats (No. 4) vs. East Carolina Pirates

Date and Time: November 26, 3:30 p.m. EST

Odds Courtesy of BetOnline

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Cincinnati Bearcats -14 (-115) -560 Over 57 (-115)
East Carolina Pirates -14.5 (-105) +440 Under 57 (-105)

The Cincinnati Bearcats got their wish and are currently in the College Football Playoff picture. Their big break was the Oregon Ducks losing in Utah against the Utes. Cincinnati is No. 4 in the country and would play the Georgia Bulldogs if the rankings were to hold.

They blasted the SMU Mustangs by a score of 48-14 in a game where they had to earn some style points. Cincinnati is perfect this season, with their marquee win against Notre Dame on October 2. The Fighting Irish have been playing some good football, so that win looks even bigger for Cincinnati now.

East Carolina could be a classic trap spot on the road. The Bearcats can’t get too comfortable yet. The Pirates are playing at a high level with four straight wins to advance to 7-4 on the season. Their last loss was in overtime against the Houston Cougars in overtime on October 23, 31-24.

Cincinnati Bearcats vs. East Carolina Pirates Betting Trends:

Cincinnati

  • 4-0 ATS in their previous four teams versus a team with a winning record
  • 6-1 ATS in their previous seven games on a Friday
  • 2-6 ATS in their previous eight games as a favorite on the road

Georgia Bulldogs (No. 1) vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Date and Time: November 27, 12:00 p.m. EST

Odds Courtesy of BetOnline

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Georgia Bulldogs -35 (-115) OFF Over 54.5 (-110)
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets +35 (-105) OFF Under 54.5 (-110)

The Georgia Bulldogs have clinched the SEC East and are just waiting for the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship. Georgia has been the best team on the college gridiron and have no intention of slowing down.

Their defense has been next to impossible to move the ball on. Nick Saban is a good head coach, but he’s going to have to work hard to put a good game plan together for Georgia if they meet in the SEC Championship.

Georgia is coming off a 56-7 win over Charleston Southern in their late season creampuff game. There hasn’t been a team to test them since opening the year with a 10-7 win against the Clemson Tigers. Not that the Clemson offense tested the Bulldogs’ defense any.

Georgia Tech is on a five-game losing streak and faces an uphill battle in the Good, Old Fashioned hate game. They go into this one at 3-8 with their most recent win on October 2 against Duke, 31-27. Georgia can name the score if they want to.

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Betting Trends:

Georgia

  • 4-1 ATS in their previous five games versus Georgia Tech
  • 5-0 ATS in their previous five games on the road
  • 11-0 ATS in their previous 11 games at Georgia Tech
  • 7-1 overall in their previous eight games versus the ACC
  • UNDER is 5-2 in their previous seven games
  • OVER is 4-0 in their previous four games versus a team with a losing record

Georgia Tech

  • 1-6 ATS in their previous seven games
  • 2-12 ATS in their previous 14 non-conference games
  • 1-4 ATS in their previous five games after a loss
  • 5-16 ATS in their previous 21 games at Georgia Tech
  • 7-20-1 ATS in their previous 28 games

Ohio State Buckeyes (No. 2) vs. Michigan Wolverines (No. 5)

Date and Time: November 27, 12:00 p.m. EST

Odds Courtesy of BetOnline

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Ohio State Buckeyes -7.5 (-117) -310 Over 63.5 (-115)
Michigan Wolverines +7.5 (-103) +260 Under 63.5 (-105)

The 2021 edition of The Game is in Ann Arbor at the Big House. Ohio State is coming off an impressive display against the Michigan State Spartans in a 56-7 runaway.

That was the most impressive performance of the week, and it was enough to send Ohio State to No. 2 above Alabama in the College Football Playoff rankings.

C.J. Stroud and the Ohio State offense were at their best for their ninth straight win this season. Is Ohio State unbeatable?

This is the same team that lost to Oregon, 35-28, and struggled to run away from Purdue and Nebraska, so they’ve been far from perfect despite how perfect they were against the Spartans.

Michigan needs to be perfect against Ohio State on Saturday, but their defense might be able to frustrate the freshman C.J. Stroud. They are 10-1 with a loss against the same team the Buckeyes just blew out last week.

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Michigan Wolverines Betting Trends:

Ohio State

  • 6-2 ATS in their previous eight games
  • 4-1 ATS in their previous five games
  • 4-1 ATS in their previous five games as a road favorite
  • 6-2 ATS in their previous eight games after a win
  • 13-0 overall in their previous 13 games on the road
  • 9-4 ATS in their previous 13 games versus Michigan

Michigan

  • 6-1 ATS in their previous seven games
  • 5-1 ATS in their previous six games at the Big House
  • 5-1 ATS in their previous six games after a win
  • 4-1 ATS in their previous five games after covering the spread
  • 1-6 ATS in their previous seven games versus a team with a winning record

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Baylor Bears (No. 8)

Date and Time: November 20, 3:30 p.m. EST

Odds Courtesy of BetOnline

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Texas Tech Red Raiders +14 (-105) +475 Over 51.5 (-105)
Baylor Bears -14 (-115) -615 Under 51.5 (-115)

The Baylor Bears need multiple dominoes to fall in front of them, and then some more to reach the College Football Playoff. The 9-2 Bears passed up on a CFP bid when they lost to the TCU Horned Frogs for their second loss three weeks back.

One loss and a win over Oklahoma might have put them on the fringe of playoff contention at the moment. They responded well after the loss to TCU with a 24-17 win against the Sooners, and then avoided a trap in Kansas State last week with a 20-10 win.

Texas Tech is rebuilding after hiring Joey McGuire as their new head coach two weeks ago. They were impressive in a 41-38 win against Iowa State two games back, but had a letdown with a 23-0 loss against Oklahoma State this past weekend.

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Baylor Bears Betting Trends:

Texas Tech

  • 4-1 ATS in their previous five games versus Baylor
  • 5-0 ATS in their previous five games after failing to cover the spread
  • 7-1 ATS in their previous eight games at Baylor
  • 1-3-1 ATS in their previous five games as an underdog
  • 1-4 ATS in their previous five games versus a team with a winning record

Baylor

  • 4-0 ATS in their previous four games as a favorite at Baylor
  • 6-0 ATS in their previous six games at Baylor
  • 5-1 ATS in their previous six games
  • 4-1 ATS in their previous versus the Big 12
  • 18-6 ATS in their previous 24 games after a win

Alabama Crimson Tide (No. 3) vs. Auburn Tigers

Date and Time: November 27, 3:30 p.m. EST

Odds Courtesy of BetOnline

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Alabama Crimson Tide -19.5 (-111) -1400 Over 55 (-115)
Auburn Tigers +19.5 (-109) +825 Under 55 (-105)

The Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers meet in the Iron Bowl in Alabama at Auburn University. This hasn’t been a perfect season for Alabama, they’ve lost already and have come close to losing in spots, but the Crimson Tide are No. 3 in the country going into Rivalry Week.

Alabama is coming off a close one against the Arkansas Razorbacks in a 42-35 final at home. It was the second outing in three games that Alabama came close to being bumped out of the College Football Playoff. They had to scratch and claw for a 20-14 win against the LSU Tigers at home.

Fortunately for Alabama, this isn’t the best Auburn team and they’re on a three-game losing streak to drop to 6-5 on the season. The Tigers are coming off a 21-17 loss on the road against South Carolina, which was preceded by a 20-3 loss against Texas A&M and 43-34 versus Mississippi State.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Auburn Tigers Betting Trends:

Alabama

  • 11-2 ATS in their previous 13 games after failing to cover the spread
  • 13-7 ATS in their previous 20 games
  • 7-1 overall in their previous eight games on the road
  • 10-5 ATS in their previous 15 games versus the SEC
  • 2-6 ATS in their previous eight games at Auburn

Auburn

  • 3-6 ATS in their previous nine games
  • 2-7 ATS in their previous nine games as an underdog
  • 1-4 ATS in their previous five games as an underdog at Auburn
  • 6-2 ATS in their previous eight games versus Alabama

Oregon State Beavers vs. Oregon Ducks (No. 11)

Date and Time: November 27, 3:30 p.m. EST

Odds Courtesy of BetOnline

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Oregon State Beavers +7 (-108) +224 Over 60.5 (-105)
Oregon Ducks -7 (-112) -264 Under 60.5 (-115)

The Oregon Ducks are sliding down the rankings into Rivalry Week after getting blown out in Salt Lake City by a score of 38-7 this past Saturday night.

How is Oregon going to respond after a performance like that, which takes them out of the College Football Playoff?

This is a rivalry game, but Oregon had their eyes on going to the College Football Playoff. That’s done with two losses. They also have a loss against Stanford earlier in the season.

Oregon State may not be in a position to go to the playoff or a New Year’s Six game, but they play hard. They’re coming off an upset win over the Arizona State Sun Devils by a score of 24-10.

The Beavers are bowl eligible at 7-4, and feeling confident following that performance. They could have the Ducks on the ropes if an “A” effort is presented in the Civil War on Saturday.

Oregon State Beavers vs. Oregon Ducks Trends:

Oregon State

  • 10-1 ATS in their previous 11 games as an underdog on the road
  • 6-0 ATS in their previous six games versus a team with a winning record
  • 5-1 ATS in their previous six games in November
  • 7-2 ATS in their previous nine games after a win
  • 10-3 ATS in their previous 13 games

Oregon

  • 1-6 ATS in their previous seven games at Oregon
  • 2-9 ATS in their previous 11 games as a favorite
  • 5-15 ATS in their previous 20 games
  • 5-2 ATS in their previous seven games after scoring less than 20 points
  • 8-3 ATS in their previous 11 games versus a team with a winning record

Oklahoma Sooners (No. 10) vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys (No. 7)

Date and Time: November 27, 7:30 p.m. EST

Odds Courtesy of BetOnline

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Oklahoma Sooners +4.5 (-105) +165 Over 49 (-110)
Oklahoma State Cowboys -4.5 (-115) -190 Under 49 (-110)

The Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys are meeting at Boone Pickens Stadium in the Bedlam Series on Saturday night. This is a tough spot for Oklahoma on the road against a very good Cowboys’ defense.

Oklahoma blew their shot with a 27-14 loss against the Baylor Bears two games back. They’ve been living on the edge in games this season, and finally paid for not being able to pull away from teams.

The Sooners got into another close one with a 28-21 win over Iowa State last week. Oklahoma State is on a four-game winning streak, and wins in 10 of 11 games this season. Their only defeat was a 24-21 loss on the road at Iowa State.

This could be the last Bedlam Series game for a long while. Oklahoma is going to the SEC, so that puts this series in flux. Like Texas and Texas A&M when the Aggies went to the SEC, this could be the end of an era on Saturday night.

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys Betting Trends:

Oklahoma

  • 4-1 ATS in their previous five games versus a team with a winning record
  • 12-3-1 ATS in their previous 16 games as an underdog on the road
  • 7-3 ATS in their previous ten games as an underdog
  • 17-3 overall in their previous 20 games
  • 10-5 ATS in their previous 15 games versus the Big 12

Oklahoma State

  • 9-0 ATS in their previous nine games
  • 6-0 ATS in their previous six games as a favorite
  • 9-0 ATS in their previous nine games versus the Big 12
  • 4-0 ATS in their previous four games at Boone Pickens Stadium
  • 20-6 ATS in their previous 26 games versus a team with a winning record

Notre Dame Fighting Irish (No. 6) vs. Stanford Cardinal

Date and Time: November 27, 8:00 p.m. EST

Odds Courtesy of BetOnline

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Notre Dame Fighting Irish -9.5 (-118) -1200 Over 52 (-115)
Stanford Cardinal +19.5 (-102) +750 Under 52 (-110)

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Stanford Cardinal square off in California. Notre Dame leads the rivalry with 16 wins to 12 for Stanford. They are hot at the moment, and might be the hottest team in the country that no one is talking about.

If only the Fighting Irish didn’t lose against Cincinnati on October 2. That one stings and the committee is going to hate Notre Dame for losing to the Bearcats. They would be in the top-4 over Cincinnati right now if they won.

We’ll see how things play out, but it’ll be tough for the Fighting Irish, especially not playing in a conference championship game. Since the loss, Notre Dame has won six straight, with a 55-0 win most recently against Georgia Tech.

Stanford enters on a six-game losing streak, capped off by an embarrassing 41-11 loss against Cal last week. Since beating Oregon, they’ve gone winless. They aren’t playing with much confidence. We’ll see if they find any at home against Notre Dame.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Stanford Cardinal Betting Trends:

Notre Dame

  • 6-0 ATS in their previous six games
  • 5-2 ATS in their previous versus Stanford
  • 6-1 ATS in their previous seven games on the road
  • 12-3-1 ATS in their previous 16 games in November

Stanford

  • 0-6 ATS in their previous six games
  • 1-7 ATS in their previous eight games at Stanford
  • 1-5 ATS in their previous six games as a home underdog at Stanford
  • 0-5 ATS in their previous five games after failing to cover the spread
  • 0-9-2 ATS in their previous 11 games in November
