The Cleveland State Vikings are in Oklahoma searching for an upset against the Oklahoma State Cowboys in Stillwater.
Cleveland State goes into Monday with some confidence on a six-game winning streak after opening the season with two losses. The Vikings are off to a 6-2 start this season.
In their biggest test this season, Cleveland State will look to topple Oklahoma State in this one. If they shoot as well as they did against Wright State in their most recent outing last week, the Vikings will have a chance.
Back at it.

The Vikings pulled away from Wright State for a 85-75 win on December 4. Five different Vikings got into the double digits, with Jayson Woodrich leading in scoring with 17 points off the bench.
It’s their third game in the last three outings where Cleveland State scored in the 80’s. They are going to have to push and attempt to create chances tonight at Oklahoma State.
The Cowboys may be without Cade Cunningham now, but they’re still a dangerous offense that can roll up a bad defense quickly. Oklahoma State is coming off back-to-back losses, and could be looking for a team to run over.
In their most recent outing, the Cowboys lost as 3.5-point favorites at home to Xavier. That’s a quality opponent that Oklahoma State could have earned a big win for their resume.
Instead, the Cowboys fell to 6-3 on the year and will have to pick up the pieces on Monday against Cleveland State. The Vikings aren’t a team to get lazy against or this could be interesting.

Cleveland State vs. Oklahoma State Prediction:
Oklahoma State is looking to get off a two-game snide after a couple of sloppy performances. Fortunately for the Cowboys, Avery Anderson III should be able to dominate on the offensive end in this one.
Anderson III has been hot recently with 26 points against Xavier, which came after 17 points versus the Wichita State Shockers. If Anderson doesn’t stay on course, there are two other guards in this team that should be able to exploit the Vikings.
The Cowboys have scored a solid 73.9 points per game this season. Cleveland State might have allowed 63.6 points a game this season for a solid mark going into tonight, but that’s on an easy schedule.
Wright State and Canisius both scored more than 70 points against the Vikings. If Oklahoma State is interested, and I’m sure they will after two losses, they should have around 80 points on the board.
Cleveland State has been shooting the ball well through their last three outings, so I can see the Vikings having to rely on their offense to keep this one close with Oklahoma State likely scoring.
Cleveland State Vikings vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys Betting Trends:

Cleveland State goes into tonight with an average of 72.6 points scored per game. Through their last three outings, they’ve turned it up with an average of 82 points per.
After a slow start, Cleveland State has scored at least 70 points in four of their last five games, along with at least 80 points in three of their last five attempts.
If the Vikings want to spring the upset, they are going to have to stay hot from the field. To an extent, I can see Cleveland State making this one interesting in the second-half with their offense.
This may not be an up and down shootout, but this total looks a touch too low in my view. I have this at 138.5 or 139 points instead of the posted 134 currently at MyBookie.
In a final score I see landing at around 75-65 or 78-66 the OVER appears to be worth a look in Stillwater on Monday night.
