Tar Heel Talk

North Carolina Tar Heels LogoWhen North Carolina turns up it’s running game, Williams’ young Tar Heels have already shown the penchant to convert consistently. In addition, the first two wins have allowed Williams to start to develop his bench and define roles of players as they come off the bench. Carolina would love for Leaky Black to step up beside of Brooks on offense as Black has the length and versatility to garner even more minutes with that type of production.

Rule of Tree

Stanford Cardinal LogoThe Cardinal showed lots of different weapons in the win over Alabama as Williams, who is the highest rated recruit in Cardinal history as well as a consensus 5-star recruit coming out of high school. Davis and de Silva give solid senior leadership to Haase’s rotation as de Silva’s matchup with either Day’Ron Sharpe or Armando Bacot will he a key inside. The Cardinal cannot afford turnovers as they committed 22 in defeating Alabama. The 6-8 Williams on the point against Caleb Love is another intriguing matchup between two of the top 15 freshmen in this class.
