The 19-7 No. 5 seed Cowboys take on the 22-1 No. 1 seed Bears on Thursday evening in the Big 12 tournament semifinals. Oklahoma State took down the No. 4 seed West Virginia on Wednesday, 72-69, behind yet another strong performance from star freshman and Big 12 Player of the Year Cade Cunnigham. Baylor had its hands full much more than the Bears anticipated against No. 9 seed Kansas State on Wednesday. However, they made enough plays to secure a 74-68 victory.

The Bears swept the Cowboys during the season series, although Cunningham did not play in the first matchup.

Oklahoma State Cowboys LogoOklahoma State is led by Cunningham, the future NBA lottery pick and possible No. 1 choice in the next draft who leads the Big 12 in scoring with a 19.6 points per game average. Cunningham had 24 points in his only game against the Bears this season, shooting 10-of-19 from the field.

Baylor Bears LogoGuard Jared Butler leads Baylor with 17.2 points per game. Butler had 22 points in the first matchup while making 6-of-7 3-point attempts, and backed it up with 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field overall in the second meeting. Baylor has gone 15-8 against the spread as the favorite this season.

Please Note:
Oklahoma State has thrived in the underdog role this season, boasting an 11-3 record against the spread in those scenarios. So both teams are comfortable in the positions they are in, but the Bears got an unexpected wakeup call against Kansas State and should come out firing on all cylinders Thursday night.

Baylor is the class of the conference and has the ability to go on a 10-0 run or larger at any given time. Feel comfortable laying the nine points and backing one of the best teams in the country. Then watch Baylor pick up a double-digit win to advance to the Big 12 conference title game.
