|Teams||Spread||Money Line||Total Points|

The 13-5 Musketeers travel to our nation’s capital to take on the 8-11 Hoyas on Tuesday night. Georgetown, winners of three of its last four, picked up a 68-60 road win over DePaul on Saturday.
Xavier picked up a huge home win over Creighton on Saturday, 77-69. Forward Zach Freemantle leads the Musketeers with averages of 16.9 points and nine rebounds per game. Fremantle has been especially hot of late. He has registered 17 points or more in each of Xavier’s last five games, eclipsing 22 points in three of those games.
The Hoyas are led by guard Jahvon Blair, who averages 15.8 points per game. Unlike Xavier’s Freemantle however, he has not been hot of late. Blair has failed to reach double figures in scoring in three of his last four games. Forward Jamorko Pickett has picked up the slack for the Hoyas recently, scoring in double figures in each of the team’s last 10 games.
Although on paper Georgetown appears to be playing better basketball, two of its last three wins have come against Butler and DePaul, respectively. Those are the two teams in the Big East that cannot score the basketball even against terrible defenses, which is the sort of the Hoyas have been playing much of this season.
There is just as much of a reason to bet on Xavier to win this game as there is for this game to go above the Over/Under total of 147.5. Xavier is 9-3 straight up as a favorite this season and the Over has cashed in eight of those 12 games. Take the Musketeers to cover the short spread and also bet the Over as this game is bound to be a shootout.
