Hello and welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls… and everyone else interested in betting on CSGO! As you can see, we’re back in business after a short break over the weekend, and we’re bringing forth several interesting CS:GO tips.

First up, we have the highly anticipated ESL One: Road to Rio NA quarterfinal matches.

100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid predictions are what we’re going to be focusing on in this piece. So, let’s cut straight to the chase and do a quick recap of the group stage!

ESL One: Road to Rio NA Playoffs | The Story Thus Far

The group stage of ESL One: Road to RIO NA event is behind us. Already, we have two major surprises to talk about… and no, Orgless’ drama isn’t one of them! I’m referring to two surprising eliminations. One’s from group A, where Evil Geniuses failed to make a stand in what was a pretty tough group.

Brehze and the boys are out of the competition, following three debacles against 100T, C9, and Gen.G.

Talking about Gen.G – the all-new org exploded on this event, snatching three dominant wins (four if we count their “win” against Orgless) and qualifying straight to the semifinals.

The second surprise stems from group B! It’s not as big as the first one, but it’s still worth pointing out. MIBR failed to quality to the playoffs after suffering major defeats against Liquid and FURIA. The Brazilians were actually pretty unlucky because they performed better than the boys in blue, but got eliminated due to the outcome of their head to head matchup.

100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid Predictions

With a quick recap of the group stage, we’re ready to move on with our 100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid predictions and check out both teams’ performances ahead of the highly anticipated quarterfinals match.

Liquid Needs Improvement

Let’s face it – Team Liquid hasn’t been on their best game thus far on this event. Why is that so, I honestly can’t tell you. Their first match against Bad News Bears should’ve warned us about their performances.

We could have cashed in big time on that bet!

What followed that match was a relatively cozy win against MIBR, but two major losses against Envy and FURIA. Yes, Team Liquid did get back up on their feet against Yeah, but that match can’t be a good reference point on the things to expect from Team Liquid going forward…

100 Thieves Hoping for Another Screamer

The Aussies were a force to be reckoned with in the group stage. They swept through the likes of EG, Triumph, and Cloud9 to earn their spot on the playoffs.

They would’ve gone straight to the semifinals if it wasn’t for Gen.G’s dominant display in the first round. Yep – with winds of victory in their sales, Gen.G was the biggest surprise of the group stage, that’s for sure!

If there’s a 100T player that needs to be emphasized for his recent gameplay, then it’s definitely Gratisfaction. The 24-year-old Aussie has been absolutely brilliant thus far on the event, and our 100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid predictions will have to keep his stats in mind, that’s for sure! Jks and jkaem are right behind him. Heck, the entire 100 Thieves’ roster stepped up for the occasion, and I got to admit that it really does show!

Can 100 Thieves Create the Upset?

But, considering recent gameplay, can 100 Thieves theoretical win against Team Liquid tomorrow even be called an upset? I mean, the Aussies have impressed everyone with four wins and a single loss in what was a pretty tricky group. Team Liquid, on the other hand, barely squeezed out alive with a last-round Hail Mary against Yeah. Twistzz and the boys should be grateful they got out of the group with such awful performances…

Back to the topic – would 100T winning this one be considered as an upset?

Well, according to esports bookmakers, it would! Team Liquid, despite showing off a rollercoaster of performances throughout the last week or so, is at -200 which just goes to show you how much trust the bookies have in them.

But, I wouldn’t be so sure about that. -200 could seem like a great deal considering the reputation of both these sides, but recent work, team morale, and individual displays tell a different tale… And that’s where 100 Thieves reign supreme!

Please Note:
I have to admit – a match-winner on 100T at +140 doesn’t add too much value to the table. But, it’s still something…

Usually, in matches like these, I’d go with the classic total maps over 2.5 wager. But, seeing as my current track record hasn’t been the greatest, I’m going with a simple match-winner on 100 Thieves.

That would be all for today, folks!

With those conclusive words, AKA concrete 100 Thieves vs. Team Liquid predictions, this piece has come to a close. Thank you all for reading – here’s hoping we string together a few winning wagers again!

See you around!
