2022 LCS Spring Split Betting | FLY vs. 100 Thieves Predictions & Match Analysis

Predictions for FLY vs. 100 Thieves will surely be unanimous — for reasons that need no explaining; still, if their last few games are anything to go by, things might end up being a lot more competitive than one would expect.

The boys in green are actually ranked higher than the defending LCS champions, and they’ve also been a fair bit more consistent, too. If they can get a win here, they would all but solidify their spot as a top-tier contender and a shoo-in for the Spring Split playoffs. That, however, is easier said than done.

100 Thieves might be struggling, but they’re still capable of throwing down and trading blows with the absolute best teams in North America. They belong in that echelon as well, but only when they play and execute like a five-man unit; for some odd reason, though, that hasn’t been all too frequent an occurrence.

They’re surprisingly vulnerable and fallible — exploitable, even — and not at all as dominant and in sync as we thought they’d be.

They’re currently in sole possession of fourth place, but with just six wins and five losses to their name, they no longer have the luxury of dropping games to their direct competitors. A spot in the playoffs is pretty much guaranteed, but they know just how important it is for a team to end up in the Top 4.

That way, they would start their playoff run in the upper half of the bracket and would give themselves a bit more room to maneuver and experiment.

FlyQuest, on the other hand, want to get as many more wins on the board as they possibly can before those oh-so-important Best of 5s come around. We’re still not quite sure how good they really are, but they’re obviously feisty and capable and should not be underestimated whatsoever.

We don’t think they’ll accomplish much once all is said and done, but they’re quite dangerous in Bo1s; 100 Thieves would, therefore, be wise to bring their “A game,” lest they risk getting upset — again.

2022 LCS Betting | FLY vs. 100 Thieves Predictions — Reasons to Watch

This is not only a clash of two top-tier teams but also a high-stakes game that’ll affect the playoff picture in numerous important ways. It’s not exactly “do or die” but it’s not far off either.

Both teams want to win and they want it badly.

We’re going to side with 100 Thieves on this one but we wouldn’t go so far as to call them the favorites. They are the better team with a much higher skill ceiling, but they’ve also regressed for some odd reason and have been worryingly inconsistent and fallible.

One thing’s for certain: this game will be much more competitive than the odds would suggest. 100 Thieves are well equipped to tackle and neutralize whatever FlyQuest might come out the gates with, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll be able to get the job done.

Be that as it may, betting against them simply wouldn’t make much sense at this point. They might be struggling, but they’re still amongst the very best teams in NA and are well aware of what they need to do to emerge victorious.
