As far as predictions go, MAD vs FNC is an absolute nightmare — and we wouldn’t have it any other way! The reason why is rather simple: we’d much rather wrack our brains over who’s going to come out on top than watch yet another lopsided beatdown.
We are also happy beyond measure that both MAD Lions and Fnatic are currently in peak form. For the LEC to be as competitive and entertaining as it can possibly be, both teams need to be performing at their absolute best — and that sure does seem to be the case at the time of this writing.
Now, everyone knew that Fnatic would hit the ground running. That, however, was by no means guaranteed in the case of MAD Lions, despite the fact that they had upgraded in the most crucial of ways during the course of the off-season.
And, needless to say, the LEC as a whole (including those watching on a weekly basis) will benefit greatly from it.
They’re still not totally cohesive but that, too, can be excused and forgiven; the MAD Lions will present quite a problem for the LEC pantheon, and that’ll happen a lot sooner than most folks expect.
Unfortunately for the former two-time LEC champions, their hype train will now come to a temporary halt as they’re scheduled to face none other than the former “Kings of Europe” — a team stacked from head to toe with some of the very best and most capable players who’ve ever taken flesh.
MAD vs FNC Predictions — As Even As It Gets
The gap between these two might not be all that massive, but it does exist. Whether it’ll end up making a bit enough difference still remains to be seen though as Fnatic haven’t been all that consistent either.
Both teams have had tremendous moments of brilliance but also their fair share of blunders.
In any case, it’ll be a clash of epic proportions, one that could, by all means, leave an indelible mark on the LEC standings and, by proxy, the playoff picture.
