MSF vs MAD might not be the most competitive match-up one can imagine, but it is nonetheless an interesting one, and its outcome is also a fair bit more important than it might seem at first glance.
For MAD, this is an opportunity to make yet another statement and, in doing so, further separate themselves from the “rest of the pack.” Misfits, on the other hand, are in dire need of a few wins, and getting the better of the former two-time LEC champions would no doubt put them on the right path.
They’re just not on the same level. There’s no other way to put it. MAD are layered, astoundingly capable, and a fair bit flexible, too. They can win through all three lanes and they also have one of the most talented junglers within their ranks, too.
Misfits are neither good nor versatile enough to compete on even footing. And their flaws and deficiencies (which are manifold) have now become more obvious than ever.
It’s a night and day difference, really.
And unless some truly incredible shift happens, unless someone steps up and starts performing better than ever, Misfits will almost certainly miss out on the playoffs.
A shame, but also an indication that a few roster changes might be overdue.
MSF vs MAD Predictions — A World Apart
MAD Lions, while far from perfect, have thus far shown a much more impressive gamut of styles and strategies. They’re a true top-tier team, even though they are, in all fairness, still a bit rough around the edges.
Whether it’ll be a competitive affair or a wholly lopsided one depends solely on Misfits and their level of play. If you’re a fan, do temper expectations as there’s very little to get excited about.
