Predictions for RNG vs. PSG will surely lean towards the LPL champions and, well, it’s easy to understand why: they’re better in every way, shape, and form! That, however, doesn’t mean there’s no reason to tune in — quite the contrary!
The PCS representatives are feisty and more capable than people want to give them credit for, and just because they’re noticeably less capable than some of their peers (the towering giants of the LCK, LPL, and LEC, in this case) should in no way dissuade you from watching.
This particular match-up is a foregone conclusion. That much is clear. Still, PSG Talon have nothing left to lose. No one’s expecting them to win which, in turn, might end up serving as quite a big boon to their performance. Well, at least that’s what we’re hoping for!
Royal Never Give Up are still amongst the very best and most dangerous teams at this year’s Mid-Season Invitational, and even though they did lose a bit of steam after dropping to G2 Esports, they should not be counted out just yet.
They will go back to the drawing board, analyze the VOD, figure out why things unraveled the way they did, and come back with a vengeance. We’ve seen it a million times in the past, too. Dropping a single game means nothing in the grand scheme of things, and they’re aware of it as well.
RNG vs. PSG Predictions | A Fairly Competitive Affair
All of this means that PSG are bound to endure the might and anger of one of the most capable teams the world of competitive League of Legends has to offer. Royal Never Give Up are hungry for revenge, and even though PSG have nothing to do with their most recent loss, they’re next in line which means they’ll be the first to experience the rage that’s bubbling up in the LPL champions.
Be that as it may, they’ll have more than enough time to work on their issues, correct their most egregious flaws and come back stronger than ever. And, well, PSG have nothing to offer in that regard, even though they will make things ever so slightly more competitive than the odds would lead you to believe.
