Predictions for RNG vs. T1 will surely be all over the place and it’s easy to understand why: these two teams are separated by the slimmest of margins! They are neck-and-neck in terms of talent and overall potential.
Who’ll come out ahead, therefore, is nigh impossible to predict. There’s really no other way to put it. We simply have no idea whose hands will eventually get raised which, frankly, is the worst possible scenario as far as betting is concerned.
They are separated by extremely slim margins and the team that first makes a mistake will almost surely end up losing — it only takes a single misstep at this level of play to end up on the receiving end of things.
Just look at what G2 did to T1, and the “ease” with which they were able to turn the tides add yet another win on the board (over the toughest of opponents, no less).
RNG vs. T1 — As Even As It Gets
It pains us to say it, but there’s very little we can surmise and talk about before first seeing these two towering behemoths face off. Both teams have a shot at emerging victorious, and both have certain quirks and flaws that could, potentially, be exploited by the other side.
Their approach, while certainly stellar, might not be the most optimal at this point in time. And they have G2 to thank for (hopefully) realizing it.
Their losses weren’t flukes but rather an indication that a most important shift in the meta has occurred before our very eyes. And, needless to say, G2 are at the “forefront,” drafting and playing what no one else seems to be prioritizing.
We’re going to side with the LPL champions on this one but by no means are we doing it with any tremendous amount of confidence. The odds are simply too alluring to pass up, is all.
