The last lower bracket match is upon us! With less than 24 hours separating us from it, CS:GO betting enthusiasts must be at the edge of their seats.
But, are high odds on The Great Danes merely a gimmick to pull you in? Well, that’s exactly the kind of stuff you’ll be able to find out in our Astralis vs. NiP predictions!
Astralis vs. NiP Betting Predictions
As always, we’ll start our betting picks off with some general information about the teams. Think of this portion as a short “storyline” section focusing on each side. When it comes to Astralis, the first thing you’ll notice are relatively high odds despite NiP being the team on the other end.
No – bookies haven’t lost their minds… If you’ve been living under a rock for the last few months, perhaps you’ve missed the news about Gla1ve and Xyp9x taking medical leaves.
Their replacements aren’t ideal, to say the least. I’m not implying JUGi and Snappi are terrible players, I just think they’re not exactly Astralis’ caliber.

In other words, the odds on Astralis aren’t that high because of in-form NiP but because of the fact Astralis is missing key players. But, it’s safe to say NiP has been rock solid too. Their recent matches ought to play a key role in our Astralis vs. NiP predictions. For starters, they only lost once in five latest matches, and that was against Vitality. Their latest head to head match versus Astralis happened just last week and NiP took a resounding 16-7 win on Train.
That's a tough one, but we will be back stronger later today ?

Map Pool Info
Looking at HLTV’s match page, map stats paint a pretty equal picture. Astralis should be superior on Dust 2, Inferno and Nuke, while NiP should have the advantage on Mirage, Overpass and Vertigo. When it comes to the latest head to head matches, NiP is actually in a slight lead with five wins – Astralis is on four. It’s not a big difference, but it’s still something we need to take into account for our Astralis vs. NiP predictions.
Betting Against Astralis
Obviously, betting against Astralis isn’t a good idea… but this isn’t that scary Astralis lineup that keeps winning Majors as if they’re nothing. Without gla1ve and Xyp9x, this Astralis roster can’t be the same. I mean, just look at their recent results – their absence is as clear as day.
It brings forth a ton of additional risk, seeing as they’re both (in a way) capable of deciding matches all on their own. With Astralis’ core duo still on the server, I wouldn’t want to have my money on the opposing side. Plus – let’s not forget about the fact this is a Bo3 contest, which is a completely different ballgame for The Great Danes…
Yep, in the end, the factors that pulled us in favor of Astralis won the struggle.
Who knows, perhaps JUGI and Snappi show off their prowess tomorrow…
