NaVi vs. Complexity Betting Predictions | ESL Pro League Season 12 Picks

NaVi vs Complexity Logos - ESL Pro League Logo

Thus far, our ESL Pro League S12 playoffs predictions have been pretty good. We’re three from four at the moment, but I’m fairly confident our lower bracket picks will come out as a success too. Our NaVi vs. Complexity predictions are hoping for that as well!

As you all know, NaVi took Mousesports down in what was a proper quarterfinal thriller. It went down to the third map which ended in a 16-13 win for the CIS side. Mousesports had its chances, that’s for sure… but some of their key players were missing in action. Bymas, Mousesports’ newest signing, stepped up for the occasion and pushed others aside.

As for Complexity, even with oBo stepping down last week, they managed to win against the shaky ENCE team. I said shaky because that was a pretty bad performance against a team that had to make a forced roster alteration halfway through the competition.

There’s a lot more to tell you about as far as our NaVi vs. Complexity predictions are concerned, so let’s get to business!

NaVi vs. Complexity Predictions

Coming into this match, Natus Vincere are considered as the favorites. Not heavy favorites, though, Complexity showed off all of its might against ENCE, and will rightfully expect a lot from this match. My CSGO betting brothers beware – this could be a very tricky contest. In fact, that’s what our NaVi vs. Complexity predictions are here for!

Statistically, Mousesports has a better map pool than the Finnish side. Vertigo and Nuke have been their most Natus Vincere won seven matches since the start of the event; Complexity won “just” six. When looking at more distant results (AKA the whole of 2020), both teams have several titles to brag about. The quantity is on Complexity’s side, thanks to four HomeSweetHome trophies alongside BLAST Premier Spring EU Finals. S1mple and the boys have won WePlay! Clutch Island, GamersWithoutBorders, and IEM XIV World Championship. Quality is on their side, that’s for sure!

As far as head to head matches go, NaVi and Complexity are in a ten-match tie. Five wins are on either end of the story, meaning this match will pull the rivalry in one team’s direction. Which direction is it going to be? Well, that’s what our NaVi vs. Complexity predictions are here to find out!

Map Pool Depth

Map pool stats are pretty even across the board. Both teams don’t like playing Inferno, they’re both good on Dust 2, Nuke, and Train. Overpass and Vertigo are statistically favoring Complexity, but NaVi isn’t half bad on those maps either… even though some of their stats suggest otherwise.

Player Qualities

I have to go with Natus Vincere here. There’s no doubt the CIS boys have much more individual quality. I mean, they have S1mple. I feel like I’m repeating myself all the time, but S1mple really does mean a ton on the server. He’s often the difference for his team, whether we’re talking about entry frags or sick 1vx clutches.

Complexity is more of a teamwork-based team. They’re dynamic, rely on outsmarting their opponents, but they’ve lost a whole lot of flexibility with oBo’s departure. NaToSaphiX looks like a promising replacement, although he’ll have to prove himself to earn his spot.

My Pick
NaVi to Win

NaVi should win this one, and at -223, I kind of fancy our chances. For folks who are on the lookout for riskier wagers, a 2:1 win on Navi at +185 might be better suited for your style of play. If not, this simple match winner ought to do the trick. Fingers crossed we extend our run and broaden our opportunities ahead of upper bracket semifinals.

Let’s go NaVi!

Let’s go S1mple!
