Just two days of BLAST Premier Global Final are left, which means we’re almost ready to wrap up the competitive 2020 season. For those of you who don’t know, this event serves as the icing on the cake of a remarkable season of CSGO. There are just four teams left in the competition, and we’re just about to take a closer look at two of them. NaVi vs. Liquid picks is what we’re here about, so let’s dig right in and see which way this match is heading into!
DAY 5 TOMORROW AND WE CONTINUE OUR BANGERS ONLY POLICY 💥
— BLAST Premier GLOBAL FINALS BANGERS ONLY TODAY💥 (@BLASTPremier) January 22, 2021
Yep, there are just four matches to go in this event! Four tough contests, four top-notch teams, four contenders that will want to hoist the title at the end of this campaign. Obviously, only one will snatch the flattering title alongside $600,000 in prize money. Who knows, perhaps it’s going to be one of these two teams, although their road to the grand finals are going to be much more difficult than that of Astralis and Vitality.
NaVi vs. Liquid Predictions
Yep, that’s the thing with lower bracket contests – not only are you eliminated in case of a loss, but you’re also going to have a lot tougher time reaching all the way to the grand finals. But hey, NaVi and Liquid are both very experienced teams and we can rest assured they won’t let anything faze them ahead of such an important match.
What about your CSGO betting endeavors? Should you include this matchup in your weekly accumulators, or is it better off as a single? Heck, is it even worth betting on considering just how tight it’s going to be?
Well, it’s all up to you, really! There’s value to be found, that’s for sure, but it’s up to you to figure out if your betting bankroll can afford a relatively risky environment such as this one.
We’re reached a point in the event at which every remaining team has high title aspirations, no matter what sort of a mindset they had at the beginning of the event. This goes without saying for all four teams that are still in the event, especially for these two since they are one loss away from getting eliminated. That said, there’s really no need to separate these two in terms of expectations, so let’s leave it at that and continue onward with our NaVi vs. Liquid betting predictions!
Map Pool Stats
Last time out, NaVi and Liquid played a pretty short 2:0 match with the NA org reaching a surprising win. Liquid won 16:6 on Inferno and that was the first big upset since pre-match stats saw Inferno as a pretty tight encounter. Nuke, NaVi’s pick, ended 16:14, but could’ve easily gone the other way if it wasn’t for superb stuff coming in from NAF.
What can we expect this time around? Well, the map banning phase shouldn’t be too different… though I expect NaVi to mix things up with their pick. I know Nuke is their strongest pick, but surprising Liquid with Overpass or Vertigo could be the way to defeat the boys in blue…
Roster Strength and Readiness
I’m going to say the obvious here – S1mple’s individual performances push NaVi a level above Liquid. But, remember the opening-round contest; S1mple had a wonderful match (both maps, mind you), but still came out on the losing end.
With all that in mind, let’s cement our NaVi vs. Liquid picks and call it a day:
I know I said I’m going to restrain myself from investing too much into total maps over/under bets, but I just can’t help myself with this one. If the stats we’ve discussed throughout our NaVi vs. Liquid predictions have taught us anything, it’s that this one has to go the extra length.
What about their opening-round head-to-head match? Yeah, what about it?
I know it ended with 2:0 on the scoreboard, but I expect a totally different match here. Even if Natus Vincere and Team Liquid end up playing on the exact same maps, I firmly believe we’re going to see a different contest.
With those words, I’d like to finish the story off here! Thanks for reading the whole piece; hope NaVi vs. Liquid predictions turn out true and bring us a solid return.
Enjoy your weekend fellas; there’s plenty of sports and esports action so I know I will.
