Indiana (+13.5) at Illinois
At the start of the season you would have guessed that these perennial Big 10 cellar dwellers would battle to a close game. There is no reason to think they won’t but it’s been an interesting start to the season for both. The Illini have been much more competitive than previously thought of while the Hoosiers, who stand at 4-2, have moved the ball with great efficiency but can’t tackle anyone—as witnessed in their “efforts” against Ohio State and Michigan. The line seems a tad bigger than it should be so keep an eye out. They under is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings and a majority of the money is coming in on Indiana in this matchup.

Wisconsin (+6) at Iowa
Is this the Big 10 championship game? After Wisconsin’s utter (1st half) destruction of Ohio State it really does beg the question. One thing is certain for this old-fashioned slugfest: teams will be running the ball. In a game with two good defenses six points can sometimes be a lot to surrender. Either way, the 3:30 ABC (regional) kickoff should provide the old-school fan a game for the ages to cherish. If you’re thinking of backing Wisconsin, take note of the fact they are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 outings.

Alabama (-16.5) at Tennessee
Everyone knows this isn’t the same Tennessee Volunteer team we’ve seen the past few seasons. But, for people interested in playing this game: which type of Vols team will show: The one that goes to LSU and nearly wins (if not for a ridiculous mistake) or the one who gets absolutely tanned on their home field to Oregon? Bettors beware: you can hardly know what to predict. For those who like the Tide here, you will be buoyed by the fact the road team is 7-1-1 in the last 9 in the series.

Oklahoma (-3) at Missouri
There is a real treat in store for college football fans on Saturday night and the game takes place in Columbia, Missouri where the Tigers will take on Oklahoma. The Sooners have covered three spreads and lost as many. One thing they haven’t lost is a game. And, it is difficult to see it happening as the road teams is 4-1 ATS in their last five in the series but anything is possible in the Big 12, especially when a teams as good as Mizzou (#16 in the latest polls) gets a chance to play spoiler at home.

Washington (+6.5) at Arizona
Well if you love college football then you’ll probably be up to watch this late night kickoff. And, what a game could be in store as the Huskies make their way to the desert to take on a good Arizona team. And while some may assume that Arizona will just roll right over the Huskies, here is a stat to consider: the underdog is 9-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings. You couple in the fact the road teams is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 in this meeting and the game gets awfully, awfully interesting.
