Lambeau Field is the site of this Sunday Night Football game. I can promise you when the schedule makers made this game they thought it may still be relevant to the Cowboys, but it’s not looking that way. The Cowboys have struggled with penalties and just haven’t been playing well this season. I can’t exactly pinpoint why they aren’t winning games, but they aren’t and that has to stop especially this week against a banged up football team like the Packers. The Packers have to be happy that they are still in the thick of NFC North especially with all the injuries they’ve accumulated this season, but Aaron Rodgers just seems to keep his team in the game every week and the defense is trying to do their part as well. Game kicks off at 8:20 PM EST.
The Cowboys are the biggest disappointment in the league this year and that’s saying a lot when you look around the league and notice the Vikings and Bengals. The Cowboys just haven’t been able to stop the run and run the ball it seems like and if you can’t do that you can’t win. Mistakes have also killed this football team. When you look at the Cowboys you see plenty of talent, but that simply isn’t enough, they are going to have to start playing like they want to win and I don’t see that out of the Cowboys right now instead they look like a very defeated football team and they have to turn that around fast. Kitna has all of the hope of the Cowboys on his shoulder and I’m sure that’s not a situation he wanted to be in when the season started. I think the Cowboys can still salvage the season, but they must make a commitment to running the football and play a lot better defense.
Green Bay is a tough place to play especially this time of year when I’m almost certain it’s pretty cold there. The fans don’t make it much easier to play if you’re an opponent because those cheese heads are loud. The Packers have done a great job of playing through adversity though and a lot has to be said for that because they haven’t quit. Aaron Rodgers is a great QB in the prime of his career and will almost certainly have a Super Bowl ring before he retires, but as it stands right now, he has his team leading the division. The Packers haven’t had much of a running game because Ryan Grant got hurt very early on in the season, but the defense has stepped up when it needed to and hasn’t allowed many points this season.

Cowboys vs Packers Prediction for Week 9 Betting:
Spread Prediction (Top Play): The Cowboys for one reason or another is just a team I am unable to quit on. I still believe there is too much talent for them to be as bad as they are. The Packers have been decimated by injuries and if there is a team the Cowboys will be able to beat, it should be the Packers. Over the last 3 seasons the Cowboys have split the series 1-1 so that leaves a lot of uncertainty of who to pick in this position. I love teams that have their backs against the wall and I think the Cowboys are a team that needs this win more. I like the Packers to play them tough, but I love the Cowboys pull off the upset on Sunday Night.
Game Total Prediction: Both games the past the past three seasons have been Under the total. There is a lot of offensive talent in this game and it could be a game in the 60’s but I don’t think so. The game won’t be played at such a fast pace and the Cowboys do have the 10th ranked pass defense and the Packers hardly run so it will be very difficult for the Packers to move the ball. The Cowboys will have their opportunities to score, but as the Cowboys have shown they will shoot themselves in the leg. These two teams have a lot of talent and it could be the shootout everyone is expecting, but usually when one thing is predicted it’s smart to go the other way. Take the Under here.
