The Dolphins will try to continue their undefeated streak on the road as they head to Baltimore to try and steal one on the road. The Dolphins have played well at times this season, but have struggled to score touchdowns and has had to settle for field goals in the red zone which certainly bodes well for the Ravens heading into this game. As for the Ravens they are playing great football both offensively and defensively and could have an opportunity to blow this game open. Flacco is proving that he is an elite QB and having guys like Anquan Boldin certainly doesn’t hurt either. On Defense they are lead by their leader Ray Lewis and he has the defense looking just as intense as ever and getting Ed Reed back in the secondary should definitely help as well. Game will kick off at 1:00 PM EST.
The Dolphins come into this game only 16th running the football and that may not be good enough to beat the Ravens who do give up big runs on occasions. What does favor the Dolphins is the injuries to the depleted Ravens secondary and certainly Henne will look to expose them through the air by targeting WR Brandon Marshall often. Defense has been a bright side for the Dolphins and hopefully they can keep playing at the same consistent level they have been playing at so far. Shutting down the Ravens offense will go a long ways till determining the final outcome of this game because the Dolphins are not a team capable of getting into shootouts with teams. Despite the Dolphins lack of a consistent running game this season I think if they have a lead they will try and milk it.
The Ravens are a physical football team and will out physical the Dolphins on both sides of the ball, but sometimes the Ravens tend to be undisciplined and play out of position, but if play smart they have a great chance to win. The Ravens have many weapons now on offense and to this point in the season Ray Rice hasn’t been as explosive as last year probably because the passing game has been much improved. They may be in for a defensive battle though since the Dolphins have a great red zone defense. There may be many three and outs during the course of this game because of the way both teams attack and blitz on defense. I think points will be at a premium in this one. Flacco may not explode, but I do believe there will be a big emphasis on the ground game for the Ravens.

Dolphins vs Ravens Prediction for Week Nine Betting:
Spread Prediction (Top Play): Miami has a very aggressive defense that loves to get after the QB and that’s exactly what they are going to have to do or Flacco has the ability to pick them apart. Over the last three seasons the Ravens are 2-0 against the Dolphins. The Dolphins will make an effort to try and keep the game close, but I think the Ravens are too talented of a team. Miami plays good team defense and are capable of getting some good drives going, but too often they end up settling for field goals and I think this will be the game it catches up to them. The stalled drives of the Dolphins may stop them from winning, but I think 5 points is too much.
Game Total Prediction: Two teams facing off that are mostly defensive teams with good offenses and I think this will be a true defensive battle that comes down to the last possession. Over the last three seasons the total has been over 1 of 2 times so it has been pretty even. Many things can be argued and the fact that both teams have gotten better on the offensive side of the ball is no lie, but I still believe both defenses will hold. Both teams have a top 10 defense and that is my reasoning for liking the under here. The Dolphins are a good road team, but a week after only putting up 22 on the hopeless Bengals defense makes me think scoring on the Ravens will be a little harder with less success.
