Hey Guys its that time of year, when the leaves start to change colors, jackets come out of storage, and weather starts to affect football games. Also, around this time of year we have that one magical Thursday where we are given 3 NFL games. Thank God for Football on this day as well, it allows you to escape having to talk to that one uncle or grandparent for hours. Thanksgiving personally is my favorite holiday between the delicious food, football, and most of my family. The games on this Thanksgiving slate are quite interesting with all the teams involved being .500 or above and all the games having interesting fantasy plays. The obvious game everyone will want to target is the Redskins @ Dallas game which has a healthy total of 51. I have a little bit of hesitation with this game because of the Redskins playing the late game on Sunday, and then traveling for the afternoon game on Thursday. It makes me question if this total is a bit inflated due to the offensive output these teams show when fully healthy and having the proper time to game plan. I’ll break down my thoughts on each game and individual players below, lets dive in and stuff our fantasy lineups with some Power Plays.

DAL – Dak Prescott – DK ($6300) FD ($8000) – The Cowboys have the highest implied team total of the day at 29, which means Vegas see’s the Cowboys scoring four touchdowns. This high powered rookie offense starts with Dak who has scored over 17 points in 9 straight games, goes against a Washington defense that is ranked 21st in DVOA. Dak has shown us this year that he has an extremely high floor and ceiling when it comes to fantasy production and has thrown multiple touchdown passes in 5 straight games. I expect another big performance in prime time from the rookie of the year candidate.
There is no need to write up Leveon Bell and Zeke Elliot as they are my two favorite running backs and both will be locked into all of my cash games. If I’m rostering Dak I’m playing Zeke in every line up and trying to secure every touchdown scored by the Cowboys over the weekend who as mentioned above have the highest team total.
DET – Theo Riddick – DK ($5400) FD ($ 6400) – As we witnessed last week Riddick is still a very viable player in a full point PPR scoring system, scoring 16.3 DK points last week, despite only having 13 rushing yards and no TDs. Riddick has caught at least 4 balls in all but one game this year, and has shown a ceiling of 25 plus DK points in 2 of his last 4 games.
IND – Frank Gore – DK ($5200) FD ($ 6500) – The ageless wonder, its nothing short of a miracle that Frank Gore is still playing and producing at his age. The Indy running back will be relied on heavily this weekend due to the absence of Andrew Luck. Gore has one of the highest floors for a running back in the NFL as he has scored over 11 FD points in every game this season except for 2. In a slate that is slim on high potential value Gore provides us with that, and is the most likely player on the Colts to score a TD.
Just like with Running backs there is no need to talk about Antonio Brown, as he is miles and miles ahead of the other wide receivers on this slate. You may be saying hey well what about Dez, yes I know Dez has looked like his old self these past few games but with his price and match up against Josh Norman I will pass on him in cash and will have little exposure to him in tournaments. There is a ton of value and high upside tournament plays for this 3 game slate but these are my 2 favorite Wide Receivers.
WASH – Jamison Crowder – DK($ 5800) FD ($6300) – Crowder has been the most consistent receiver for the Redskins all year who are averaging over 400 yards of offense per game. Crowder has shown a very solid floor and ceiling this season averaging 21.8 DK points over the past 4 games. Dallas struggles against slot wide receivers and Jordan Reed continues to garner the most attention from defenses leaving Crowder open underneath and up the seam.
MINN – Adam Thielen – DK ($ 4000) FD ($ 6200) – This play becomes a must play in cash games if Diggs is announced out before the early game on Thursday. Thielen is probably a name some of you have never heard of but has quietly been getting more involved in the passing game. Thielen has seen 5+ Targets in 5 out of his last 6 games scoring 3 TDs in that time frame as well. If youre going to play Zeke and Bell or AB you will have to find value, and Thielen offers that along with upside.
DAL – Jason Witten – DK($ 3200) FD ($ 5600) – Witten will be my tight end in cash this week as his floors is higher than all other tight ends this week. I expect him to see similar usage with Josh Norman potentially shadowing Dez. The last time these two teams met in September Witten had 3 catches for 51 yards, although that isnt ideal on a short slate that would be acceptable if he can bump that up to 5-6 catches for similar yardage. This is the highest scoring game on the slate as mentioned above.
Steelers – DK ($2800) FD ($4300) – The Steelers defense showed last weekend that it cant post a big stat line on the road against a less than mediocre QB. Well they have a similar match up again this week with Luck out. I expect the Steelers to get ahead and force the Colts to pass, and when a team is passing much more can happen then if they are just simply running the ball.
