This game pits two teams with completely different styles of play offensively as FSU has a high-powered passing offense centered around last year’s Heisman Trophy winning QB Jameis Winston, while the Yellow Jackets run the ball utilizing coach Paul Johnson’s triple-option attack that has a tendency to befuddle defenses that rarely face that style of play. The Seminoles have not been the dominant team that they were a season ago, they have been living dangerously and winning with second half comebacks all season long. Winston has posted subpar numbers compared to his banner season last year, with 21 TDs and 17 INTs on the year. FSU has been terrible ATS this season, with a 3-9 record, while the Yellow Jackets have been much better at 8-4 ATS. The trend in the series also favors Georgia Tech. The Triple option attack is tough to defend, especially when an opponent has a short time to prepare for it as FSU has. Look for Georgia Tech to cover here, take the Yellow Jackets and the points.
