One of the keys to this game for Oklahoma, especially on the road, is for quarterback Landry Jones to take care of the football and prevent turnovers. The Sooners were hurt by their three turnovers in the loss to Missouri, including two interceptions by Jones. Jones bounced back last week against Colorado with a career-high 453 yards passing and 4 touchdowns, and he will need to play well against A&M for Oklahoma to win. Receiver Ryan Broyles with 1,018 yards receiving and running back Demarco Murray with 752 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns are the other keys to the Sooner offensive attack.
On offense for Texas A&M, there is a new starting quarterback, Ryan Tannerhill who threw for a school-record 449 yards in the win against Texas Tech last week. Starting running back Christine Michael is out with a broken right tibia, so the Aggies may be forced to look to the air against Oklahoma more than they have in previous games this season.
Oklahoma won last year’s matchup in a rout 65-10 in Norman, and they have won 7 n a row against A&M. The Sooners are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games in November. In head-to-head meetings, the over is 6-1-1 in the last 8 meetings, and the home team is 10-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings. The under is 15-7 in Oklahoma’s last 22 games overall, and the over is 12-4 in Texas A&M’s last 12 games as an underdog.

Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M Betting Predictions:
Over/Under Prediction (Top Play) – Take the over here, Texas A&M will throw the ball quite a bit, and Oklahoma has shown a propensity to give up big plays this season. Look for both teams to move the ball up-and-down the field all game long. Oklahoma can certainly run the ball with Murray, in addition to their prolific passing game, but the theme of the day will be big plays. With A&M having the throw so much because of their running back situation and likely having to keep up with the Sooners explosive offense this game should easily go over the total.
Spread Prediction – The Sooners have owned this series during the past decade, with A&M winning only once since 2000. Look for more of the same on Saturday as A&M is short-handed on offense, never a good think when you are playing a team as talented as Oklahoma. This should not be a blowout, as A&M has a scrappy team and College Station is notoriously tough place to play, but the Sooners should nevertheless cover the spread without too much difficulty. Look for Jones to have a big day against the Aggie defense, and Broyles and Murray provide too many weapons for Oklahoma to use against a less-talented team.
