The number 13th ranked Penn State Nittany Lions will have the daunting task of traveling to the Big house in Ann Arbour to take on the Michigan Wolverines. The Nittany Lions haven’t won at the Big House since 1996, and they’ll look to put their five-game losing streak at Michigan Stadium to rest Saturday afternoon. Rookie Quarterback Tate Forcier and leading rushers Carolos Brown and Brandon Minor should all be back in the lineup for the Wolverines. Forcier will split time with fellow 19-year old Denard Robinson even thought he has recovered from a concussion suffered on October 10th against Iowa. A big problem for the Wolverines this year has been there lack of receiver play. No Michigan receiver has over 20 receptions. The Nittany Lions on the other hand have four, with six foot five Derek Moy leading the way who had six passes for 120 yards last week against Minnesota. However, the focus of Penn State’s offense is junior tailback Evan Royster. He may get even more carries as backup Stephfon Green (ankle) will be out for this game. Royster has played well against Michigan has he had 174 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in the rout against Michigan last season. Check below for the trends, lines and predictions.

Penn State vs Michigan Predictions:
Final Score Prediction – Penn State 32 Michigan 21
Spread – I am going with PENN STATE TO COVER the 4.5 point spread in this one. I feel confident in the Nittany Lion’s rushing attack and their feared defense. The Nittany Lions defense is tied with Florida for the nation’s top scoring defense at 8.7 points per game and are sixth in run defense at 75.4 yards per game. Although Michigan’s offense is ranked ninth in scoring at 37.3ppg, I believe the Nittany Lion’s defense will shut them down. Penn State takes this game.
