Friday Night Football will take place this week in Cincinnati, OH. The South Florida Bulls will head North to take on their Big East Rival, the Cincinnati Bearcats. The Bulls come into the matchup with a 3-3 record (2-4 ATS), while the Bearcats are also 3-3 on the season (3-3 ATS). Kickoff is set for 8 PM EST.
South Florida comes into this one with a 2 game losing streak, both of which have come in conference matchups. Last week, the Bulls lost to West Virginia by a score of 20-6 and have put up just 15 points total in their last 2 games. The team has lost both games they have played on the road so far this season. The team has really struggle on offense so far in this campaign, amassing just 314.7 yards per game. This is ranked 103rd in the country. The team is even worse of (107th) in passing offense, with a paltry 157 yards per game through the air. On defense, the team has been much better where they rank 17th in the nation in total yards allowed at just a hair over 300 per contest. They are also allowing under 17 points per game and have not played in a lot of high scoring affairs so far.

The Bearcats, on the other hand, are starting to hit their stride, having won 2 in a row after dropping 3 of their first 4 to open the season. The team is coming off a hard fought 35-27 win over Louisville last week and are looking to keep the positive vibes going at home, where they are 2-1 on the year. Quarterback Zach Collaros has led an offense that is putting up over 422 yards per game and is scoring over 30 points per contest. Collaros has 1455 yards to go with 17 touchdown passes, while only being intercepted three times this season. He threw 5 touchdowns in last week’s win over Louisville. On defense, the team is giving up 366 yards per game, which is middle of the pack on the national scene.

South Florida vs. Cincinnati Betting Predictions:
Spread Prediction (TOP PLAY) – South Florida is coming into this game struggling to mount anything on offense. Meanwhile, the Bearcats look like they are putting things together and getting ready to make a run through the middle and late part of their season. The Bearcats have also owned South Florida in previous matchups, having won 4 games in a row in the series. They are also a perfect 6-0 ATS in the last 6 matchups between the two teams. Combine that with the Bearcats’ 9-4 record ATS in their last 13 conference games and I will lay the points in this one.
Game Total Prediction – Cincinnati is putting up over 30 points per game on the season and have a quarterback who can flat out get it done on the field. Meanwhile, South Florida is spinning their tires on offense lately and really struggling to move the ball and put up points. The total has gone under in the Bulls’ last 4 games and I don’t think they are going to have much more success in this one. Look for the Bearcats to roll and really keep the Bulls at bay.
