David Reitspies vs. Tomas Konecny Pick – Czech TT Star Series April 21, 2020

It’s another table tennis betting day at The Sports Geek, as we’re back in the Czech Republic for the TT Star Series. We were able to sweep the board for a 2-0 day yesterday in Czechia. That brings us to 22-16 on our table tennis picks, which is more than acceptable. Along with the two winners yesterday, we had a winning selection on Friday morning.

That puts us on a three-match win streak going into Tuesday. Hopefully we can find some more winners to add to our total on Tuesday. It’s hard to argue with profits, especially in a smaller sport with almost everything else closed for business right now.

I don’t believe it’s going to be as easy as yesterday, though. Both of our picks won 3-0, so it was as easy as they come at table tennis. It’s unlikely that we won’t lose at least a set on Tuesday. I’d be happy with one of our picks winning in straight sets, but in a perfect world, we will win two matches anyway we can get it.

For those struggling without sports, there will be plenty to talk about in the NFL later this week. The NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday and will spread out across the weekend. Unfortunately, it will be without the spectacle in Las Vegas, but there will be something to talk about in a major sport soon.

The only thing to really talk about when it comes to table tennis is gambling. For the most part, you don’t really have fans of individual players. It’s like horse racing in a sense that the vast majority of the industry is predicated around gambling. Despite not getting the most attention when there is normalcy in the world, there is still a market for tennis table bettors.

This is a sports betting website, so naturally table tennis is going to be right up our alley. If we can get out of this in the positive then it’s going to be a successful campaign. To get us started on Tuesday, we’ll be handicapping an elite matchup between David Reitspies and Tomas Konecny. Repitspies and Konecny are two of the best players the TT Star Series has to offer. Head below for our free David Reitspies vs. Tomas Konecny pick in the Czech TT Star Series for April 21, 2020. This match is scheduled for 2:15 a.m. EST and 11:15 p.m. PST.

David Reitspies vs. Tomas Konecny Prediction:

David Reitspies was an easy winner for us yesterday against Tomas Tregler, but he’s going to be tested more on Tuesday against Konecny. Tregler has been way off the mark recently, while Konecny continues to play well. Konecny heads into Tuesday on a three-match win streak and a record of 5-2 in his previous seven matches. Dating back to April 7, Konecny has been sharp at the table with a record of 15-6. One of his losses came against Reitspies, an opponent that he had issues with on Friday.

Reitspies got the win by a score of 3-1 in a minor upset. However, Konecny holds an advantage in the overall series, as he’s gone 6-4 in ten meetings against Reitspies. That said, they’ve been fairly even, and Reitspies has won two of their last three meetings. He won 3-1 on the 17th and 3-1 on the 4th over Konecny.

Reitspies has been focused recently, as he looks to build on some solid play recently. He is 9-2 in his previous 11 matches. Reitspies also carries a record of 20-7 since April, so he’s been playing better than the odds are advertising in this contest. Konecny is -180, but I think that’s off versus Reitspies. The underdog has a better chance of winning than the odds imply. I’d consider going with a value play on Reitspies to get it done.
