Dolphins vs Bills Line Odds and Prediction

The Buffalo Bills rush defense will breathe a sigh of relief that they wont have to see Ronnie Brown in the Miami Dolphins backfield. Their assignment however, won’t be any easier as Ricky Williams is coming of consecutive 100 yard games. He will look to keep this streak alive and help Miami land a birth into the playoffs. Miami (5-5) looked in deep trouble at the start of the season, losing three straight games but they have won five of their last seven giving them a good chance to remain competitive in the division title race. Ironically, the Dolphins turnaround began against Buffalo (3-7) in Week 4, as their run-heavy offense tallied a season high 250 yards in a 38-10 victory. That victory was with Brown in the backfield who had 115 yards and two touchdowns. Brown would suffer a season ending foot injury on November 15th. The 32-year-old Williams is the oldest Miami running back to record consecutive 100-yard games and he hasn’t rushed for 100 yards in three straight games since 2003. The Bills’ struggles on both side of the ball were enough to get coach Dick Jauron fired after a 41-17 loss at Tennessee on Nov. 15, and while they played better last Sunday in Jacksonville, the result was the same. Spread Prediction – Bet BUFFALO on the spread.  Although they lost, Buffalo played well against Jacksonville last week and held them to 102 rushing yards as a team. Also, newly appointed starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick hooked up beautifully with Terrell Owens who caught a season high nine passes for 197 yards. I feel optimistic that Buffalo, playing at home, will beat this spread. Bet Buffalo to beat this 3.5 point spread at

Over/Under Prediction- Take the UNDER 40 total points in this Panthers vs Bills game. The Dolphins big rushing effort in Week 4 was a part of a four-game stretch in which Buffalo allowed 240.5 yards per game. This included an NFL season-high 318 yards in a 16-13 win over the New York Jets. This is why I believe Buffalo’s rush defense that is currently allowing 156 yards/game is inflated.
