NHL Predictions and Free Picks December 15th:

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Nashville Predators – The Predators have surprised many people with their hot start to this years NHL season.  They have opened the season with a 19-11-3 record, and are 5-3-2 in their last 10.  The Lightning have had a pretty good start to the season just two points out of a playoff spot (11-12-9), but have recently cooled off with a 2-6-2 record in their last 10 games.  The Predators are 4-0 in their last 4 vs Eastern Conference teams, and I look for that to continue tonight.

Free Pick – Nashville to win (-160)

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Minnesota Wild – These two teams are only one point apart in the Western Conference standings, both out of a playoff spot as it stands.  The Wild are hot as of late with a 7-2-1 record in their last 10 games.  Columbus has been pretty much the opposite, as they have lost 8 of their last 10 games.  In their only meeting this year the Blue Jackets won 2-1 in Columbus.  Wild are 4-0 in their last 4 games as a favorite, and 4-1 in their last 5 games playing on 2 days rest.

Free Pick – Minnesota to win (-160)

Calgary Flames @ St Louis Blues – This is the second of four meetings on the season between these two teams.  The Flames took the first game in St Louis 2-1 in overtime.  Calgary is 19-9-4 coming into tonight’s game, putting them second in the North West and 5th overall in the conference.  St Louis has had their struggles this year, and sit with a 13-12-5 record (5-10-2 at home).  The Blues are 0-4 in their last 4 home games, and the road team is 4-1 in these two team’s last 5 meetings.

Free Pick – Calgary to win (-105)
