NHL Predictions and Free Picks November 27th

Tonight, November the 27, features 7 evening games, after another 5 that got underway before 4 PM ET. Black Friday in the United States should provide NHL fans all over North America with plenty of high-flying NHL action. Some of tonight’s more interesting games to keep your eye on include the Calgary Flames entering Joe Louis arena to battle the powerhouse Detroit Red Wings, the Toronto Maple Leafs look to stay on track in the win column in Florida, and the San Jose Sharks are in Oil Country to collide with Edmonton. Other games tonight see the Atlanta Thrashers in Carolina, the Tampa Bay Lightning play host to the New York Rangers, the St. Louis Blues are in music country to battle the Nashville Predators, and the Dallas Stars are in the desert to take on the Phoenix Coyotes. Our FREE NHL predictions and picks for all of these exciting Black Friday games can be found below!

NHL Predictions and Free Picks November 27th:

Calgary Flames vs. Detroit Red Wings – The Detroit Red Wings have been in a downward spiral as of late, dropping 4 of their last 5 games overall. A big reason for this is the fact that the Red Wing offense has only managed to score 5 times over these 5 games, having dropped a 2-0 decision to Atlanta in their most recent action. On the other side, Calgary looks to start a 6-game road trip tonight on a winning note, after only winning 2 of their last 6 at home. Calgary’s offense has also mildly struggled as of late, only managing to score twice in a 2-1 win over Phoenix at home in their last game. I look for Calgary to come out strong tonight to begin what will no doubt be a crucial road trip.

Free Pick – Bet on the Flames to win at +115

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Florida Panthers – The Toronto Maple Leafs are perhaps coming off of one of the most gutsiest wins of the season. They managed to win a back-and-forth contest 4-3 in Tampa Bay on Wednesday night. The Panthers have grabbed points in 8 straight games, but have lost 2 in a row in extra time. Although goals have been rather hard to come by in Toronto this year, the Maple Leafs have managed to tally 14 times in a 4 game stretch that has seen them go 2-0-2. After a character win in Tampa, I look for the Leafs to remain hot and steal one tonight in Florida.

Free Pick – Bet on the Leafs to win at +100

San Jose Sharks vs. Edmonton Oilers – The San Jose Sharks became the final NHL team to lose in regulation on home ice this season, after getting thumped by Chicago 7-2 on Wednesday night. Injuries are a big factor in tonight’s match up. The Sharks will be without Rob Blake, Devin Setoguchi, and Brad Staubitz while Edmonton could be without Ales Hemsky, as he left this week’s game in LA early. Edmonton will be without Denis Grebeshkov, Mike Comrie, Robert Nilsson, Fernando Pisani, Marc Pouliot, Ryan Stone and Taylor Chorney. This depleted Edmonton lineup leads me to believe the Sharks can win tonight on the road in order to bounce back and remain atop the Western Conference.

Free Pick – Bet on the Sharks to win at -155
