NHL Predictions/Free Picks for October 19th
San Jose Sharks vs New York Rangers – The Sharks are 4-3-1 this season which puts them one point behind the surprising Pacific division leading Coyotes. San Jose is coming off a 4-1 win on the road against the Islanders on Saturday after a 4-1 loss to th Capitals a few nights earlier. The Rangers are possibly the best team in the NHL so far this season with a 7-1-0 record. New York is averaging 4 goals per game and only giving up under 2 goals a game.
Free Pick – Bet OVER 5.5 (-120)
Los Angeles Kings vs Dallas Stars – Pretty even match up here with the Kings and Stars. The LA Kings have started this 2009 season with a 4-4-0 record, after a hot start. The Kings are coming off a 4-1 loss to Columbus on Saturday night. Dallas is 3-1-3 this season and are coming off an impressive 4-3 win in Chicago on Saturday after a disappointing loss to the Bruins Friday night.
Free Pick – Bet OVER 5.5 (+105)
Vancouver Canucks vs Edmonton Oilers – Tonight’s game is the first meeting between these Northwest division rivals. Last year the two teams split the 6 game season series. The Canucks have started off the season slow with a 3-4-0 record. Roberto Luongo hasn’t looked like himself thus far, and the Canucks need him back to his regular form. The Edmonton Oilers have looked impressive going 4-2-1 through their first 9 games. The Oilers have won three of their last four.
Free Pick – Bet OILERS to win (-120)
