Penn vs Sanchez Odds and Prediction for Betting

UFC 107 has some exciting fights on the card, with the main event being a great bout between BJ “The Prodigy” Penn and Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez for the UFC lightweight title.  BJ Penn comes into this match unbeaten at the 155 pound division for nearly eight years, and this marks his third straight lightweight title defense.  In between those title defenses, BJ Penn took a TKO loss to George St Pierre when he tried to capture the UFC Welterweight title.  Diego Sanchez, winner of The Ultimate Fighter 1, has won four straight fights, with the previous two being named “Fight of The Night”.  Diego looks to pull of an upset here in his first title shot, and prove he is the number one UFC lightweight fighter.

Penn vs Sanchez Prediction:

BJ Penn is hands down the best lightweight fighter in the UFC right now.  His boxing skills are top notch, and he has the best jiu-jitsu in the lightweight division.  Sanchez won’t be able to last with Penn if they stay standing, because of his awkward boxing technique; and I he will have troubles getting the take down on BJ Penn.  Diego Sanchez is a great fighter, but I don’t think he will be the man to take away BJ’s lightweight title.  BJ Penn wins via third round submission.
