Saints vs Eagles Betting Line

The New Orleans Saints travel to the city of brotherly love to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in one of the biggest match ups of this young NFL season.  This game will be broadcast on FOX from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA beginning at 1 pm ET this Sunday.  New Orleans comes into this game after a home win in week 1 vs. the lowly Detroit Lions.  On the other side of the ball, Philadelphia is coming off of a statement win against the Carolina Panthers, a game in which the Philadelphia defense was brilliant.  Betting lines, trends and predictions for this Nebraska vs Virginia Tech game can be found below.

Saints vs. Eagles Betting Picks/Predictions:

Final Score Prediction – New Orleans 28  Philadelphia 17

Spread:  Bet on the New Orleans Saints to cover the spread of 1.5 points at -110.  With Donavan McNabb on the shelf for this weeks collision, and a very inexperienced and unproven quarterback as his replacement, the New Orleans Saints should be able to cover the points this week.  Also, after witnessing Drew Brees pick apart the Detroit Lions defense at will with a career-high 6 TD passes and putting up 40+ points in the first week of the season, I strongly believe in the New Orleans Saints again for week 2.  Bet on New Orleans.

Over/Under:  I like the UNDER 46 total points at -110 in this match up.  Although Drew Brees is a proven scorer, Kevin Kolb is not.  Look for New Orleans to do most of the scoring in this one, despite the miracles the Philadelphia defence pulled off in week 1.  Look for this game to go under the total.
