Super Bowl Prop Bets Predictions and Picks

We have already posted a couple different Super Bowl Prop Bet articles, but here is another, which is a guess post by Thompson. Thompson is year in and year out the best Super Bowl prop bettor I have seen. I know I will be taking his advice, check it out.

Looking to bet on some Super Bowl props? You’ve heard about the national anthem prop bet, the Gatorade prop bet, celebrity Super Bowl prop bets, and the handful of Kim Kardashian prop bets that can be placed, but lets stick to some serious Super Bowl prop bets that can make us a nice profit $$  (Don’t get me wrong those prop bets are a lot of fun, but I want to make some money).

I absolutely love the Super Bowl.. not for the food, not for the beer, not for hanging with friends, not for the commercials (ok I like all of those too) – but I absolutely love the Super Bowl for the prop bets. EVERY SINGLE YEAR FOR THE PAST 5 SUPER BOWLS I HAVE PROFITED (a good amount) ON MY PROP BETTING.

My Super Bowl Prop Bet Predictions and Picks:

Drew Brees Passing Yards Over 285.5 (-125)

Brees had thrown for over 285 yards 10 out of 15 games in the regular season (66%).  Although Brees has not thrown over that number so far in these playoffs, he hasn’t been forced to.  In order to keep up with the scoring the Peyton Manning should put up today Drew will need to be throwing the ball quite a bit more.  Drew Brees will throw for over 285.5 yards.

Total Sacks By Both Teams OVER 3.5 (+160)

This is a bet for value at +160.  The Saints have sacked the opposing QB 35 times, while the Colts have 34 sacks on the season.  The Colts have given up an average of 2 sacks per game in this years playoffs.  With two weeks to prepare, I think these defenses have probably drawn up some new defensive looks to throw at Manning and Brees’ offensive lines.  A lot of passes will be thrown in this game, giving lots of opportunities for the QBs to be dropped.  Lay it down on the Over here.

A.Collie (IND) To Score a TD (+150)

Austin Collie has become a favorite target for Manning.  With Reggie Wayne getting a lot of attention from teams defenses it opens up space for Collie, who has proven he is reliable.  Collie leads the receivers with 2 TDs in the postseason and has 11 receptions.  Manning will most likely throw at least 2 TD passes, and Collie will be one of the first receivers he looks at in the red zone.
