This Sunday, February the 7th, features the best the AFC and NFC have to offer as the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints with collide in Miami, FL to battle for Superbowl XLIV (44). Kickoff for this game is scheduled for 6:25 PM ET and can be seen on CBS from Sun Life Stadium. Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts will be looking for their 4th Superbowl Championship in the last 4 years, as they will battle a New Orleans Saints team who is making their Superbowl debut.
The Colts knocked off the Chicago Bears 29-17 3 years ago in South Florida, the same site that hosts this year’s Superbowl. The Colts were ranked 9th on offense this season, and will go up against a Saints defense that gave up an average of 363 yards per game. The number 1 ranked offense in the NFL this year belongs to the New Orleans Saints who averaged 404 yards per game, 272 of those yards through the air. A Key to success for the New Orleans defense this week is to do their best to cover WR Pierre Garcon and WR Austin Collie, who combined for 274 receiving yards and 18 receptions against the Jets 2 weeks ago. However, do not forget that the Saints have beaten Kurt Warner and Brett Favre thus far this playoffs, which leaves the door open for Drew Brees to try and pick apart the Colts secondary, as well as Reggie Bush going up against a Colts run defense that held strong against a solid New York Jets running attack two weeks ago.
This year’s Superbowl promises to be a good one with possibly the two best quarterbacks in the league going head to head. Betting Lines, trends, and predictions for this Superbowl 44 match up are listed below.

Indianapolis Colts vs. New Orleans Saints Superbowl Spread and Over/Under Betting Predictions:
Final Score – Indianapolis Colts 31 New Orleans Saints 28
Spread – Lay down on the SAINTS to beat the 5-point spread here in Superbowl 44. The Saints have not been fooled by future Hall of Fame Quarterbacks Kurt Warner and Brett Favre so far this post-season, and I don’t look for that trend to break here against the Colts. No doubt Peyton Manning is one of the best Quarterbacks of all time, however, it has been the short passing attack that has given the Colts success this season. Manning only threw a pass of 40+ yards in 5 games this season, compared to Drew Brees’ 8. I don’t see the number 1 ranked Saints offense having a tough time keeping up with the Colts powerful offense, but it’s the Saints secondary that might give them the most trouble. Dallas Clark should be able to get plenty of passes on quick slants to expose that weak Saints secondary. Overall, I would not be surprised to see this game to end on a last minute FG, or even go to Overtime. Look for the SAINTS to keep it close with the Colts in Superbowl 44, bet Saints +5.
Over/Under – Lay down on the OVER 56.5 total for this game. As we know, two of the most powerful offenses the NFL has to offer will be in action, and Drew Brees Saints are ranked #1 in the NFL on offense this year, with Indianapolis not too shabby themselves sitting at 9th. The best quarterback of all-time will go up against one of the most underrated Quarterbacks of all time in what should be the highest scoring Superbowl in recent memory. Bet on OVER in this game (-110).
