US Masters Odds – 2010 Masters Betting Odds

Here we go, the 2010 golf season is officially starting this weekend (as far as I’m concerned) with the 2010 US Masters.

This years Masters is the 74th Masters tournament, being held at Augusta National Golf Club starting tomorrow Thursday April 8th, and wrapping up on Sunday April 11th.  As any casual sports fan is probably aware, there is a lot of hype for this years 2010 Masters tournament, as it marks the return of Tiger Woods.  Woods has been dominant at the Masters winning four titles (1997, 2001, 2002, 2005), and is trying to come back into the game with a statement, as his goal is, of course, to win this years tournament.  It was to no surprise that the oddsmakers have set Tiger Woods as the favorite for this weekends first major golf tournament of the year, with the +525 odds set on him ($100 bet pays $525 in profit).  Below you will find a list of the US Masters Odds, as well as information for betting on the US Masters and my personal prediction on who I am going to be betting on this weekend!

US Masters Betting Predictions:

Of course Tiger Woods is always a solid choice for winning a Major (especially the Masters), but I can’t pull the trigger on him considering his circumstances and the low 5 to 1 odds that have been placed on him winning it all.  In this years US Masters I like the experienced, and two time Masters champion PHIL MICKELSON at 11/1 or +1000 betting odds.  Mickelson has won the Masters twice previously in 2004 and 2006, and also has another Major championship under his belt when he won the PGA Championship in 2005.  At 39 years old, I think Lefty will be in the hunt on Sunday and his experience can help lead him to another Masters title.  A $100 bet on Mickelson would pay out $1,100.
