Well, this is it. The grand finale of the European Tour at the Earth Course. The course plays a whopping 7706 yards. With the race to Dubai clinched by Mcilroy Im hoping there are some others who dig deeper this week and we can make this another profitable one. Below are the 6 lads who will dig the deepest.
By the way, you can get the best odds for golfers at 5Dimes.eu. Finding the best odds with outright golf winners can make a difference of a couple thousand bucks over the course of a season.
The Outright Winner Picks:
Matteo Manassero- 33/1 -This is why I love betting on golf, Manassero is hot right now and fresh off of a victory and beating Mcilroy 2 weeks in a row yet he is still paying out 10 times his counterpart. I’m not saying Mcilroy isn’t capable of winning but stick with me on these throughout the year and it’ll be a profitable one. Matteo will be a lot more expensive in the coming years so let’s make some money on him in the mean time. (1 Unit)
George Coetzee – 40/1 – Another really hot player who placed 2nd last week and you can bet has spent all week trying to shave off a stroke or two which would have won him the championship. Coetzee ranks 1st in par 3 birdies on the tour and set a new course record (63) at Serengeti last week. Lets hope this is his week. (1 Unit)
Peter Hanson- 20/1 – You’ll rarely see me pick players who pay less than 33/1 however Peter is on such a roll and the earth course sets up beautifully for him. If he’s putting well this week, expect a huge 4 days for Hanson. (1 Unit)
Thomas Aiken-80/1 – Had it not been for a poor first day for Aiken last week he would have won the tournament outright. If he gets off to a good start this week he should be off to the races. This is a huge price considering the South African’s recent results against the strongest of fields. (1 Unit)
Alexander Noren – 70/1 – All 4 rounds in the 60’s at the BMW without much help from lady luck and still finishing at -14. Noren is another huge value pick and a guy who can shoot at flagsticks with a great trajectory to his ball which is very necessary this week with the huge undulating greens in Dubai. (.5 Unit)
Bernd Wiesberger- 85/1 – This guy is hits bombs off the tees (over 300 avg) and can get a really hot putter and as of recent he has put up very few scores that he hasn’t hung on the fridge. He has won twice this year and (thankfully) the oddmakers are hesitant to give him his proper respect. This guy is fun to watch, if he were any more laid back out there he’d fall over. (.5 Unit)
