Race 2 is a $45,000 event covering a mile on the dirt. Look for Quickflash and Royal Realm to show up big in the second at Aqueduct on Friday afternoon.

Quickflash is a one-time winner through 19 assignments in his career. He hasn’t won since three races into his career.

It’s been tough for Quickflash, but this looks more doable. Quickflash finished 4th, 3rd, 4th in his previous three attempts.

He was 4th on February 6 for a $45,000 purse. Despite the loss at the $45,000 level, this one Friday should be easier.

Royal Realm is 1 for 12 in his career, with finishes of 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 5th in the last five. He is coming off 5th on January 22 in a $55,000 event.

This was after showing 3rd on January 16 for $45,000. He’s consistent in this class and should perform well versus a weak field.

Race 4 covers a mile for a mile on the dirt for a $55,000 purse. To a T and Bella Principessa will be in the mix in the stretch.

To a T is 2 for 11 in her career, finishing 1st, 5th, 5th, 3rd in her previous four attempts. The filly had a win on June 16 for a $45,000 prize.

In her most recent attempt, To a T showed 3rd on February 18 in a $53,000 assignment. That was fine after finishing 5th on January 23 in a $55,000 race.

Bella Principessa is 3 for 13 in her career, finishing 1st, 3rd, 1st in her previous three events. She won a $53,000 race on February 18 by ¾ lengths.

That was impressive after winning a $28,000 race too easily three races back. Bella Principessa can likely handle this work on Friday afternoon.

Race 6 is a $28,000 event covering a mile on the dirt. This looks like a battle between Donegal Bay and Make It in Ny.

Donegal Bay is 6th, 1st, 7th, 5th, 9th, 5th in six races. Two races into his career, Donegal Bay cashed with a 4 ¼ length win over Simovitch for $50,000.

Since then, Donegal Bay is winless in four races, finishing 5th in a $31,000 event. Down in class to the $28,000 level, expect Donegal Bay to have a chance.

Make It in Ny had a win two races into his career. He is 5th, 3rd, 4th, 3rd in his previous four assignments.

He showed 3rd most recently on February 18 in a $36,000 event. That was pretty good given the terms.

Manny Franco should cease control of this one and pilot Make It in Ny to a big performance. This is one of the easiest of the gelding’s career.
