We’re back on Tuesday with four racecourses available for wagering at BetOnline. Kelso and Penn National will put on their first cards of the week on Tuesday, while Delta Downs and Parx continue where they left off yesterday. We lost out Daily Double at Delta Downs because the first leg failed to come through. Our second horse cleared fine, but you need both horses for a Daily Double. If you are looking to bet Kelso, there aren’t any morning-line odds available at BetOnline, at least not yet so just keep that in mind. This is the case with some of the smaller racecourses and overseas tracks at US racebooks. In this case, Kelso is a Scottish based racecourse. I am not sure why BetOnline has it listed under US, but it’s an option for the early morning hours in North America. We are going to begin Tuesday back in Louisiana at Delta Downs.
Delta Downs has nine races on the docket worth a total of $135,000 in prize money available. We will handicap three races and hope the cards fall in our favor. Head below for our free Delta Downs picks for December 29, 2020.

Distance:6 ½ Furlongs
Race 6 features a $30,000 purse for 6 ½ furlongs of racing on the dirt. Rachie Rach and She a Hot Mess should be in contention to score a win in this race. Rachie Rach is coming off her debut run on December 3 and did well for herself. She showed 3rd in a $30,000 assignment at Delta Downs to open her career. Rachie Rach moved up to 3rd at the top of the stretch and then held. She wasn’t able to improve upon her positioning, but stayed in the money in a solid run as a first-time runner. A familiar face finished ahead of Rachie Rach in that performance.
She a Hot Mess finished 1 ½ lengths ahead of Rachie Rach for 2nd place. She showed some nice kick in the stretch and was gaining, but only got 4 ½ lengths back of Infinite Purgatory at the wire. She a Hot Mess moved up from 4th at the top of the stretch to 2nd. She a Hot Mess was a first-time rookie in that race as well. She didn’t have a race on her resume before that race, which saw her finish ahead of Rachie Rach comfortably. If the same form holds, then a win for She a Hot Mess won’t be out of reach in Race 6.

Race 7 is a mile event on the dirt for a $17,000 purse. Nine horses are expected to participate in this race. Much Class and December Seven should be the runners to watch in this contest. Much Class gets the inside out of the gate and is currently in good form. He is 6 for 30 in his career and has a couple of wins since October. Much Class has gone 1st, 5th, 1st, 4th in his previous four outings. He won on October 23 over Contraction by 5 ½ lengths for a $11,000 purse.
In his other win, Much Class beat Guitarzan by a neck for a $20,000 purse on November 24. That was an impressive win. However, most recently, Much Class was unable to follow through and finished 4th on December 17 in a $24,000 assignment. That was too tough, though, and Much Class will be down in class for this $17,000 event. Expect a better performance in this one from him.
December Seven drops significantly in class after going 5th and 6th in his most recent outings. He placed 2nd behind Applicator in a $47,300 event on August 15, and then faltered at the $29,500 and $48,000 levels. This should be a much easier run for December Seve. The connections of the $150,000 December Seven didn’t envision running for a modest prize of $17,000, but he stands a good chance of scoring here.

Race 7 is our final selection at Delta Downs on Tuesday afternoon. This race goes for 5 furlongs on the dirt for a $12,000 purse. My Perfect Graydar and Snoose Goose are likely horses to watch in the stretch. My Perfect Graydar has done nothing but run in a consistent manner. He has placed 2nd in six straight performances and top-3 in seven in a row.
How is that for consistency? However, My Perfect Graydar has struggled to get over the hump and into the winner’s circle. Overall, he has gone 2 for 16, with his most recent win on March 6 in a $4,500 event. In his most recent outing, My Perfect Graydar placed 2nd behind Aw Shucks by a head for a $12,000 purse. He’s certainly capable of doing a head better on Tuesday.
Snoose Goose has finished in the top-3 in four straight performances. He is coming off a win on November 24 over Leo Del Reo for a $12,000 purse. Snoose Goose beat him by 2 ¾ lengths after steadily drawing clear in the stretch. Overall, Snoose Goose is 2 for 15 in his career and has a good chance of following up with back-to-back wins. It could be close between My perfect Graydar, but at 5 furlongs, I’ll give the edge to the horse closer to the rail.
