There are three racecourses available for wagering at BetOnline on Tuesday. If you are looking for Mahoning Valley, check out MyBookie, which comes with 8% cashback on losses. However, BetOnline is the best in the business for horse racing limits, and you can get a risk-free $25.00 bet on your first horse racing wager at BetOnline. That also includes a 7% cashback bonus. BetOnline has Parx, Delta Downs, and Turf Paradise offering racecards on Tuesday.
TheSportsGeek has Parx covered with three picks, and if you are reading this, you’ve come to the right place for Delta Downs picks. Delta Downs is a Louisiana based racetrack owned by Boyd Gaming. Boyd owns the Fremont Hotel, Main Street Station, Gold Coast, and California, in Las Vegas, to name a few.
Delta Downs has nine races on the card worth a total of $170,000. If you are looking for more horse racing picks, see what we have in store at Parx on Tuesday. Head below for our free Parx picks for January 19, 2021.

Race 2 is our first selection at Delta Downs on Tuesday afternoon. The likely winners in this event are Andthebandplayedon and Kris T. should provide a good account in the stretch in this one. Andthebandplayedon is 6 for 31 in her career after finishing in the top-3 in four straight performances and in the top-3 in 9 of her last 10 outings.
She is also coming off a win on January 7 in her most recent race. Andthebandplayedon beat She Wants Half by a neck in a $36,000 event after rallying late after going into the stretch 4th. She certainly has to be considered for the top prize in this event. Kris T. is the one horse entered in the event that likely has enough in her to counter Andthebandplayedon with a strong showing.
Kris T. is 8 for 26 in her career and fresh off a hat-trick from December 7 to January 4. In her last two wins, Kris T. won by 5 ¾ lengths in a $15,000 event, and then followed up to win by a head in a $20,000 event. She is continuing to edge up in class following that hat-trick. This might be too tough, though, and Andthebandplayedon has shown to win in higher classes than this. I’m on the consistent and reliable Andthebandplayedon.

Race 4 is another race that we’ve circled at Delta Downs on Tuesday. Mallory’s Home and Areyouinaband should be horses to watch in this race. Mallory’s Home has finished 2nd, 5th, 1st, 7th in her career. Her last outing wasn’t anything to get excited over, but if she gets back to form like on October 31, 2019, then a win is possible for Mallory’s Home.
Note that she is coming off a lengthy layoff. In her most recent appearance, Mallory’s Home finished 7th in a $40,000 assignment. The win was at the $38,000 level. If she comes back from a layoff and runs how she used to before taking a break, then expect Mallory’s Home to end up in the winner’s circle. In two recent workouts, Mallory’s Home completed 4 furlongs in 49.40 and 52.40 seconds.
Areyouinaband is 7th, 4th, 1st in her career, having shown improvement since debuting on February 22, 2019. She finished 7th in that outing, and most recently finished 1st on December 23 in a $13,000 event. The best value in this race might be with the No. 8 horse, Nineoneoneprayer. She has finished 6th, 1st, 3rd in her career.
Nineoneoneprayer beat Golden Smiles by a head in a $15,000 event on February 19 after going all out in the stretch. Nineoneoneprayer came back to show 3rd in a $24,000 assignment on December 1. Good effort well up in class as an underdog. I would rather take the value on Nineoneoneprayer than go with Mallory’s Home and Areyouinaband.

Race 6 is our final stop in Louisiana on Tuesday. This mile long event comes with a $12,000 purse for nine horses. Miss Mabelee and Miss Sooner Girl are going to be strong options to win Race 6. Miss Mabelee is 1 for 24 in her career and in the top-3 in three straight performances. She placed 2nd in two of those races, including her most recent entry on December 15. Miss Mabelee placed 2nd behind Twm Palmysdestiny in a $13,000 event by 1 ¼ lengths. This slight step down in class might be the difference between 1st and 2nd for Miss Mabelee.
Miss Sooner Girl is 1 for 12 in her career, and has finished in the top-3 in 4 of her previous 6 entries. However, Miss Sooner Girl hasn’t been in the winner’s circle since her debut on May 16, 2019. She was in terrific form in her last race, though, but just didn’t have enough in her to get the win. Miss Sooner Girl placed 2nd behind Ebony Bay by 5 ¼ lengths in a $12,000 assignment. Despite the loss in the $12,000 race, I think this event is just a bit easier. Miss Sooner Girl should win here if she runs a similar race in the same form.
