Finger Lakes Racetrack Selections for September 15, 2021 – Horse Racing Picks

BetOnline has at least 12 thoroughbred tracks available for wagering on Wednesday afternoon and evening in North America. Kelso is mixed in with the US racecourses, but this is of course an error. Kelso is located in Scotland, so kind of a distance away from American soil. In any case, if you’re looking for some early morning racing then Kelso can deliver for you.

Post Time: 2:37 p.m. EST
Distance:1 Mile 70 Yards
Purse:$32,100

Race 4 is a mile and 70 yards on the dirt for a $32,100 purse. K And G and Up For Adventure should be the ones to look at in this assignment. K And G has finished 6th, 7th, 4th, 7th, 3rd, 4th in his career.

He showed 3rd for a $32,100 purse on August 9, but that’s all for going in the top-3 for K And G. Following that performance, K And G finished 4th in another $32,100 race. He’s staying in the same class and sticking at it on Wednesday afternoon.

I don’t believe this one is going to be as tough as his previous outings, though. Up For Adventure should be his toughest foe in this one. Up For Adventure has finished 4th, 4th, 8th, 5th, 3rd, 3rd in six outings.

He showed 3rd on August 10 for a $32,100 purse, and then did the same in another $32,100 assignment. This was nice to see from Up For Adventure after he dropped in class. Against this weak field, Up For Adventure should clear with a similar effort.

The Bet
(2) UP FOR ADVENTURE

Race 6

(1) The Heart Fixer
+1200 (12/1)
(2) A Colt Named Susie
+600 (6/1)
(3) Sea Captain
+250 (5/2)
(4) Will’s Bay
+1000 (10/1)
(5) Globaltroublecoco
+400 (4/1)
(6) What’s My Category
+120 (6/5)

Post Time: 3:35 p.m. EST
Distance:1 Mile 70 Yards
Purse:$32,100

Race 6 is a $32,100 event on the dirt covering a mile and 70 yards. Sea Captain and What’s My Category should pull a lot of weight in this race. Sea Captain should make an impact in this event. He has yet to finish in the top-3, but this should be a good time to do it.

Sea Captain is winless in seven outings, and has finished 4th in back-to-back races leading into Wednesday. He was 4th in a $32,100 race, and then 4th in the same class most recently on September 6. Another performance like that and Sea Captain should see a class drop for the next race.

What’s My Category has been consistent, but is still in search of his first win. The gelding has finished 2nd in five straight performances. He placed 2nd behind Night Escort by 2 ¾ lengths for a $32,100 purse. This was after placing 2nd behind Syncopy by a neck. He keeps getting close and should have a big chance versus this field.

(6) WHAT’S MY CATEGORY

Race 8

(1) Iwillbefirst
+1500 (15/1)
(2) Catskill Rivers
+1200 (12/1)
(3) Song For Emma
+600 (6/1)
(4) Coups De Party
+500 (5/1)
(5) Pam Dorth Andiamo
+200 (2/1)
(6) Helmers Run
+300 (3/1)
(7) Lilbit Blue
+800 (8/1)

Post Time: 4:33 p.m. EST
Distance:1 Mile 70 Yards
Purse:$12,600

Race 8 covers a mile and 70 yards for a $12,600 purse to close out the day at Finger Lakes. Helmers Run and Pam Dorth Andiamo is a one-timer in 19 attempts. She’s been coming on nicely going 2nd, 3rd, 2nd in her previous three races.

Helmers Run placed 2nd behind Kaufy Futures by 13 ¼ lengths in a blowout on August 3 for a $12,600 purse. No one was catching Kaufy Futures, but Helmers Run was clearly the 2nd best. Helmers Run defeated Dixie Queen by 7 ¾ lengths.

Pam Dorth Andiamo is 1 for 7 in her career, and has finished in the top-3 in 4 of 7 attempts. She landed in the winner’s circle on June 29 thanks to a big effort for a 5 ¼ length win in a $13,500 event.

In her most recent outing, Pam Dorth Andiamo placed 2nd behind She’s a Lumberjane by 12 ½ lengths up in class for $17,200. She wasn’t close to the winner, but got 2nd comfortably by more than 2 lengths. I think she should have enough in this spot.
