Two more cards to cover on Friday from the BetOnline racebook. If you want more horse racing, there’s certainly more than just two tracks available. You can find action from overseas this morning as well. Ascot Racecourse is home of the biggest races on Friday and the weekend. There is some small stakes racing in North America, but nothing noteworthy. There are 12 thoroughbred tracks available for wagering in the US and one in Canada at Woodbine in North America on Friday.
We have selections at Churchill Downs in Louisville on Friday afternoon. For the picks head over to the Churchill Downs page. TheSportsGeek has three more picks at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach. Gulfstream has nine races, five on the dirt and four on the turf for a total of $409,000 in prize money. Head below for our free Gulfstream Park picks for June 18, 2021.

Race 3 covers 5 furlongs on the dirt for a $60,000 event. Luli’s Dancer and Noble Dreamer should go well with a chance of winning in this spot. Luli’s Dancer made her debut on May 28 and ran well to show 3rd for a $70,000 event. It was an encouraging first-time effort from Luli’s Dancer.
She has looked sharp in workouts since then as well. In her most recent performance, Luli’s Dancer was timed in 47.51 seconds at 4 furlongs. If Luli’s Dancer form holds, then you can expect her to run a close race in the stretch for the top prize in Race 3.
Noble Dreamer is running as a sophomore on Friday after a promising debut as well. She placed 2nd behind Demurely by 2 ½ lengths for a $70,000 purse. That wasn’t a bad try at all, with Noble Dreamer going 2 lengths ahead of Lili’s Dreamer. If everything stays constant from that race, and it probably does, we likely have Noble Dreamer edging out Luili’s Dreamer, this time at the front of the field.

Race 7 is a $28,000 event that covers a mile on the turf. Nine horses are expected to participate, with Gypsy Wife and Extravagant Rosie horses to keep on the shortlist. Extravagant Rosie should go well for the top prize in this assignment. She is 2 for 15 in her career and should go well in this event after finishing 5th in her most recent event.
Prior to that effort, Extravagant Rosie was in good form with finishes of 2nd, 3rd, 1st, 2nd. Extravagant Rosie defeated Starship Goddess by 4 lengths in a $16,100 event. Then Extravagant Rosie came back to place 2nd behind Global Brand by a nose in a $29,250 assignment. That was a nice showing as well up in class.
Extravagant Rosie most recently finished 5th in a $52,000 event, so that was much too tough, but she’s back down to good terms at $28,000. Extravagant Rosie will likely see resistance from Gypsy Wife. She is 2 for 12 and has had some good results recently. Gypsy Wife has gone 1st, 4th, 2nd, 2nd in her previous four attempts.
Gypsy Wife beat Stormy Derby Day by 5 ¾ lengths in a $24,000 race. Following the win, Gypsy Wife went 4th, 2nd, 2nd. She placed 2nd behind Money Factor by 3 ¼ lengths in a $24,000 outing most recently. I like Gypsy Wife, but 4/1 on Extravagant Rosie is a lot to pass up. The value is there with the No. 7, and should bounce back well from that $52,000 defeat in an event like this.

The eighth race at Gulfstream Park is a $52,000 event covering 6 furlongs. Kalu and Front Loaded both have leading credentials on my shortlist. Kalu is 6 for 20 and should be a big runner from the No. 2 post position. He enters in good form going 2nd, 1st, 2nd in her previous three attempts.
Kalu struck at the wire with a 1 length win in a $22,000 performance on April 22. He was not able to follow up with a win, but ran well most recently again to place 2nd behind Doc Amster by a neck in a $47,000 assignment. After that solid attempt, he is staying up in class, this time for a $52,000 purse on Friday. This is going to be tough, but not without a chance. Look for Front Loaded to offer a big challenge.
Front Loaded is 10 for 41 and coming off a win on May 9. He beat Whiskey Sunrise by 7 ¾ lengths for a $33,000 purse. Front Loaded also had a win four races ago over Town Classic by 1 ½ lengths in a $43,000 event. Between those two wins, Front Loaded finished 5th in a $47,000 event and 4th for a $44,000 purse. He has the most experience close to this class and should perform well.
