BetOnline has eight races available for wagering on Wednesday. It’s another MAC football and horse racing day as far as sports betting is concerned. There are three MAC games, and a bevy of horse racing action on the docket today. Usually sports are in full swing right now, with the beginning of the NBA and NHL seasons underway. The NBA is intending on starting a 72-game on December 22, while the NHL season is still up in the air.
New Year’s Day would have been a good option, but there has been no confirmation one way or the other about a start date. Horse racing keeps on chugging along. They recently completed the biggest race of the year, the Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday. Authentic won and then retired on top of the racing world.
That’s a good way to go out, though many were hoping to see him run in the $20,000,000 Saudi Cup in February. Including Indiana Grand on Wednesday, we have Churchill Downs covered for Wednesday. There are three picks at Churchill Downs to check out, and TheSportsGeek has some more at Indiana Grand as well. Head below for our free Indiana Grand picks for November 11, 2020.

Distance:1 Mile 70 Yards
Race 2 is our first selection at Indiana Grand on Wednesday. We will try to find a winner in this mile and 70-yard race for a $35,000 purse. Overthetopjustice and Royal Icing are expected to run a sharp race today. Overthetopjustice made his debut on October 19 and was alright for a rookie. The $8,200 horse finished 5th in a $35,000 event.
Overthetopjustice ran better than expected, having beaten five other horses, including runners that were expected to turn out a better result. He looked really good in a workout on November 3, with Overthetopjustice completing 4 furlongs in 47.20 seconds. Based on that effort, Overthetopjustice should run close today.
Royal Icing is winless in five-career races, but has been showing improved form following a slow start. He has finished 5th, 8th, 4th, 2nd, 2nd, with his best performances coming recently on October 19 and October 27. Royal Icing placed 2nd behind betting favorite Manuelito by a length, and then followed up a week later to place behind Sudden Shift. A similar effort should suffice on Wednesday.

We’re off and running in Race 7 at Indiana Grand. The event will cover 6 furlongs on the main track for a $16,000 purse. He’s a Warrior and Tuffer than Tuff have to merit some consideration here. He’s a Warrior is 1 for 15 in his career and has been in decent form recently. He has finished 2nd and 3rd in his last two outings, placing 2nd behind Oscar P Q by 4 ¾ lengths in a $37,000 event was an encouraging sign on September 29.
That ended a three-race streak of finishing outside of the top-3 for He’s a Warrior. In his latest race, He’s a Warrior showed 3rd in a $37,000 assignment on October 28. Based on those two starts, you have to believe He’s a Warrior is likely going to be in the mix down the stretch in this race. He’s a Warrior last won on June 26, 2019 so it’s been a cold seven-race winless streak for him. Tuffer than Tuff has been in similar form, having finished 2nd and 3rd in his previous two outings as well.
He placed 2nd behind Alwaysbehumble by a head after getting caught late. Tuffer than Tuff was close to a wire-to-wire win, but couldn’t keep it together and lost at the wire. He followed up to finish 3rd on November 2 after tiring out yet again. Tuffer than Tuff had a 1 ½ length advantage going into the stretch and then weakened. That was 6 furlongs as well, so could we see more of the same today? In his last four races he’s been a non-factor twice, and faded in the other two. I’d rather take a chance on a better price with He’s a Warrior.

The final race at Indiana Grand is a 440-yard quarter horse race. This is one of two quarter horse races in Indiana on Wednesday. The other is right before this in Race 10. Two quarter horse races seem out of place with nine thoroughbred races, but I’m glad to see it because they’re one of the biggest adrenaline rushes in gambling. Lf Lindysfavorite and Thats My Jess have strong claims on Wednesday.
Lindysfavorite is winless in eight races, but has an opportunity to strike on Wednesday. After finishing outside of the top-3 in three straight events, she came back on September 10 to show 3rd in a $17,000 event with a time of 17.246 seconds at 330 yards.
Lindysfavorite followed up for 4th on October 8 in a $17,000 race with a time of 20.699 seconds at 400 yards. There isn’t much in the way of tough competition in Race 11, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him finish better here.
Thats My Jess has finished in the top-3 in three of his previous three entries. In the one he didn’t, Thats My Jess raced in the first stakes race of his career in the Stallion Auction Derby Trial. He was noted as getting bumped and that was all for Thats My Jess.
There is no room for error in a quarter horse race, and getting bumped can be the difference between finishing 5th or 1st. He completed 330 yards in 17.228 seconds on September 10 to finish ahead of Lindysfavorite after finishing well. Thats My Jess edged out Lindysfavorite again on October 8, as he completed 400 yards in 20.641 seconds. I’m backing Thats My Jess to get the win in Race 11.
