Before we get to next weekend, there is plenty of racing throughout the week across the US. We had a winning day at Del Mar on Sunday afternoon. That was a good way to finish off the weekend with a profitable afternoon in California.

There isn’t any big time racing throughout the week, but things are going to heat up in Kentucky soon. In fact, no stakes races will be on the schedule until Friday, where Breeders’ Cup festivities will begin in Lexington. Horse racing is slow on Monday, with only three racecourses offering cards for the day at BetOnline.

This is one of the smallest cards since April when sports were in lockdown mode and it was just Will Rogers Downs and Fonner Park. That doesn’t mean we can’t turn a profit on Monday. Indiana Grand has a lot of racing on Monday afternoon, though. There are 12 races on the docket worth $204,000 today. Head below for our free Indiana Grand picks for November 2, 2020.

Post Time: 3:05 p.m. EST
Distance:6 Furlongs
Purse:$36,500

We’ll get going straight to the feature race at Indiana Grand on Monday afternoon. Race 3 is the feature race, which includes a $36,500 purse for 6 furlongs on the main track. Golden Command and Serena Beck should have a chance at the top prize in Race 3. Golden Command was hot with four straight performances in the top-3 from June 22 to September 17.

That included two wins on June 22 and July 13 in back-to-back outings. Golden Command’s most recent win was that July win over Only Reward’s by a head for a $34,500 purse. Since then, Golden Command has gone 3rd, 3rd, 7th. In her most recent performance, she finished 7th in a $38,500 event on October 6.

If Golden Command can find her old form, then she is going to be in contention for a win in this outing. However, we didn’t see it a month ago, and Serena Beck made easy work of Golden Command in that performance. Serena Beck has gone 1st, 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 6th in the first five races of her career. She won back-to-back races, and then placed 2nd in the $100,000 Indiana First Lady Stakes (Black Type) on August 26.

Serena Beck beat Golden Command on October 6 to place 2nd behind Black Sapphire by 1 ¾ lengths That put her five spots ahead of Golden Command. She was unable to follow up with a solid showing on October 22 in a $36,500 event. Serena Beck faded in the stretch. Disappointing effort, but with that out of the way, look for Serena Beck to run a strong race against this competition.

Post Time: 3:35 p.m. EST
Distance:1 Mile 70 Yards
Purse:$12,000

We will jump straight to Race 4 following our Race 3 selection at Indiana Grand. Race 4 is a mile and 70-yard event on Monday afternoon. It comes with a $12,000 purse, which is expected to include 11 runners. Conquest Stormy and Pegasus On the Go should be involved in the stretch in this one.

Conquest Stormy is 4 for 34 in his career and has been having success recently. She won on September 22 in a $11,000 event by 1 ¾ lengths over Close the Case. Conquest Stormy followed up to show 3rd on October 12 in another $11,000 assignment. Prior to those two races, she went 7th, 4th, 5th so is only finding success again recently. Her win on September 22 ended an 11-race losing streak. Conquest Stormy’s most recent win was in 2018 before stopping the drought recently.

Pegasus On the Go is going to be a tough one to beat here. She has been consistent recently to finish 2nd, 3rd, 2nd in her previous three outings. Note that Pegasus On the Go is 4 for 26 in her career, so both horses have the same number of wins. However, Pegasus On the Go was able to achieve it in quicker fashion.

In her most recent outing, Pegasus On the Go placed 2nd in an $18,000 event on September 23. She was close with a 2 ½ length loss in that race. Prior to that performance, Pegasus On the Go was 3rd in a $16,000 event on August 24. She is moving down in class for today, which should help give her an upper hand on this field. Pegasus On the Go has been running pretty well in tougher races. If her form holds from her last three races, then she is going to have the best chance of a win on Monday afternoon.
