Parx Racing Selections for December 1, 2020 – Horse Racing Picks

We are back out on the racetrack on Tuesday in the US. There are three racecourses available for wagering at BetOnline, with Delta Downs joining Mountaineer Park and Parx. All we had on Monday was Mountaineer and Parx for betting. Mountaineer Park was a win last night, as two of three horses came through for us in West Virginia.

It has been one of my more profitable tracks in 2020, and Monday night was another one of those days at Mountaineer Park. That isn’t a track that hands out the most money in prize money, but I’ve fortunately made a habit out of picking winning horses at Mountaineer. We will begin our day once again at Parx in Philadelphia. It wasn’t our best day at this track yesterday, but a bounce back could be in order on Tuesday.

Parx has ten races on the docket on Tuesday worth a total of $236,000. We will check out a couple of races in Philadelphia from this card. There isn’t much else that catches my attention on Tuesday at this race. All the best with your betting at Parx today, and the rest of your action. Post Time: 12:25 p.m. EST
Distance:6 ½ Furlongs
Purse:$22,000

We will get going on Tuesday with the first race of the day at Parx. Race 1 covers 6 ½ furlongs on the dirt for a $22,000 purse. Emperor John and Factor This In should cause some noise in the stretch in this event. Emperor John gets the inside rail out of the gate and has been in good enough form to be worthy of consideration.

He is going to need to show a little more, but should be close against this field. Overall in his career, Emperor John has gone 7 for 32. However, he hasn’t gotten to the winner’s circle since June 22, eight races ago. In his previous three performances, Emperor John has gone 4th, 3rd, 4th.

In his most recent outing, he finished 4th in a $22,000 event across 7 furlongs. Emperor John got way too wide and faded from the front of the field. A better ride would put Emperor John closer to the front at the wire. Factor This In will be tough to top for Emperor John and others in this race. He is 8 for 34 in his career and feeling it at the moment.

Factor This In has finished in the top-2 in four straight performances, including a win on September 22. In that performance, Factor This In beat Fire Mission by a neck over Fire Mission for a $22,000 purse. Also note that Facor This In has been in the top-2 in seven of his previous eight. In his last outing, he placed 2nd behind Souper Fly Over by 4 lengths. This is the same class, but a win should be more attainable.

Post Time: 3:07 p.m. EST
Distance:1 Mile 70 Yards
Purse:$18,000

Race 7 is our second selection at Parx on Tuesday afternoon. The event is for a $18,000 purse across a mile and 70 yards. House Arrest and Bobbyfromthepalm are expected to present bold bids on Tuesday. House Arrest is 3 for 8 in his career, and recently saw a three-race win streak come to an end. He won from August 16 to September 13 at Monmouth Park. In his most recent win, House Arrest defeated Call Me Daddy by a half length in a simple $12,000 assignment.

Following three wins in a row, House Arrest skipped way up in class to a $50,000 assignment. House Arrest had nothing to give in that race, having finished 11th and being eased up late. He was walked off the track. Much too tough for House Arrest, so he’s down in class. This race is still more difficult than when House Arrest was winning during his three-race win streak. Before getting smoked in that $50,000 race, House Arrest was competing in the $10,000 to $12,000 class

Bobbyfromthepalm is 3 for 7 in his career, and is coming off a productive outing on October 2 at Belmont Park. Bobbyfromthepalm beat Sargant Drive by 2 ½ lengths in a $26,000 event. He has raced at Aqueduct, Saratoga, and Belmont Park in his career thus far. The transfer to Parx is going to provide him with much easier opponents in Philadelphia. He has a good chance to get started with a win in his Parx debut on Tuesday.
