Race 2 goes for 6 furlongs on the synthetic track for $14,000. Trudian’s Promise and Squad Up should have a big presence in this event.
Trudian’s Promise is a one-time winner through six events with a victory on August 10. The filly has finished 5th, 3rd, 5th, 1st, 5th, 7th in six outings.
She was a 1 ½ length winner over Squad Up in an impressive display for a $15,000 purse. The only issue is that Trudian’s Promise hasn’t been in the same form since then.
Trudian’s Promise came back to finish 5th in a $15,454 race, and then 7th in the same class on September 22.
Squad Up is 1 for 7 in her career, and finished 2nd, 1st, 6th in her last three attempts. After placing 2nd against Trudian’s Promise, she came back with a 3 length win for a $15,000 purse.
Her trip up in class didn’t help on September 22, but did beat Trudian’s Promise by 1 ¾ lengths. Squad Up looked great in workouts, with a time of 47 seconds at 4 furlongs and then 1:00.00 at 5 furlongs. She looks like a big prospect on that form.

Race 3 is a $15,000 event covering 6 furlongs. Poquito Rose and Get Sassy are going to be tough runners in this assignment.
Poquito Rose has finished 10 for 42 in her career, and is going well recently. She’s finished 1st, 1st, 4th in her previous three attempts.
Poquito Rose beat Rolling Mo by 5 ¼ lengths in a $12,000 race, and then a neck over Get Sassy on September 7. However, Poquito Rose dropped off to 4th on September 20 in a $32,960 event.
Down in class to $15,000, expect Poquito Rose to get back near the front. Get Sassy is going to be right there again testing Poquito Rose.
Get Sassy is 9 for 43 in her career, and has finished 5th, 2nd, 1st in her previous three assignments, getting better with each performance.
She was nipped at the wire by Poquito Rose, but Get Sassy responded with a 3 ¼ length win for 3 ¼ lengths in a wire-to-wire showing on September 20. Get Sassy can get this race done.

Race 8 is the final event at Presque Isle. This is an evening race covering a mile for a $14,000 purse. Very Replaceable and Yadi should have a strong presence in this event.
Very Replaceable might be able to get it done from the outside. He has finished 3rd, 1st, 3rd, 3rd, 2nd in his last five attempts. Very Replaceable is a consistent horse.
In his last win, Very Replaceable beat Bahamian Park by a neck for a $13,000 purse. Since then, he’s been consistent to go 3rd, 3rd, 2nd.
In his most recent attempt, the gelding placed 2nd behind 6 lengths over Claw for a $14,000 prize. Yadi should give Very Replacement a big challenge.
Yadi is 2 for 32 and has finished 5th, 2nd, 1st in his last three races. He placed 2nd behind Just Plunge by 2 ¾ lengths in a $13,000 assignment on August 26.
Yadi did a spot better on September 13 for a win. For a $13,000 purse, he beat Golden Oak by 2 ¼ lengths. More of the same is likely going to put Yadi in the winner’s circle.
