On the day before Halloween the Giants after a day off, travel to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and are set to commence Game Three of the World Series at 6:57pm ET. Being up 2-0 after the first two, the Giants cannot be in a better position and with the setup of a 2-3-2. All the pressure rests on Texas as the Giants can be happy with securing one victory and going back home to AT&T for the deciding games in six and seven.
San Francisco Giants are hoping that Jonathan Sanchez can shake off the abomination that was his last playoff performance against the Phillies. The Giants did win however with the bullpen pitching seven scoreless en route to a 3-2 victory. Sanchez lasted just two innings and couldn’t record an out in the third, before being pulled after looking visibly rattled. Which is a big reason everyone is picking Texas in this one with the line showing this.
The Texas Rangers are hoping for a repeat performance for Colby Lewis who went eight strong and only gave up one earned-run in his most recent start versus the New York Yankees. Lewis is usually good for five to six solid innings, but surprisingly quieted the Yankees striking out seven in the 6-1 victory. Aubrey Huff is the only familiar face to Colby as Huff hits at a .500 clip but a small sample with a HR, two RBI and a walk.

Giants vs Rangers World Series Prediction for Game 3:
Moneyline Prediction (Top Play) — If you had asked me ‘Colby Lewis versus Jonathan Sanchez before their recent performance’, I’d have said Sanchez hands down! But Baseball is a game you play everyday and thus things can change daily and weekly for sure. So with JS trying to find his spot and Bumgarner being given healthy rest after a relief appearance also. If Texas is to win one, it is in this spot. Though if they are to leave Cliff Lee to game five that will be another win, as Lee going with Back-to-back losses in the playoffs would be astonishing. Bet the home squad and hope Sanchez erupts.
MONEYLINE PREDICTION (TOP PLAY) = RANGERS to Win (-162)
Game Total Prediction – As I stated above, the Giants picked up their fallen starter and could have seriously given him a start of only two innings and securing him the win, in a weird one. I was dead on in my previous picks taking the Giants and the over in game two of a 9-0 victory. San Francisco has the penchant for one big inning and they just feed off of it. Whereas Texas puts up a few run innings coupled with some mammoth homers. With the ‘Designated Hitter’ making its first appearance in the World Series, an under is not ideal, but getting Vladimir Guerrero out of the outfield helps the cause. Plus with more hitters not giving away outs to advance runners the under it is.
GAME TOTAL PREDICTION = UNDER 8.5 Runs
