Game Four will undoubtedly be a close affair with Derek Lowe starting and solid youngster in Bumgarner thrust into a pressure packed performance. Though after the Braves triumphantly lost Sunday, this could change as they may want their best in their for one last gasp, also to get them to game five and back at home, this one to take place on Monday, October 11, 8:30 PM ET at Turner Field. This series has been fun to watch as these two under-skilled veteran-laced squads are using up all their talent and going for broke. Attributed to all heart and hustle, with a few pitchers, you cannot miss the closing of this series.

Madison Bumgarner pitches for the first time in this series as the Giants have confidence in their rotation, stated at the beginning of the series, enough for the first round that they aren’t forcing Lincecum or Cain to pitch on short rest. Bumgarner respectfully known as the Giants 1st round pick in ’07 and the kid with the solid name looks to continue the stellar pitching performance shown by fellow lefty Jonathan Sanchez. As a 21 year old Madison posted good numbers and wound up with an even ERA at three, winning seven and losing six.
After a predicted win in game number two, the Braves staved off another 1-0 loss in game three with a pinch-hit homerun from Eric Hinske who has done well in those positions, but couldn’t hold off the Giants in the end. Derek Lowe pitches once again; his near win was ruined by giving up only one run in a loss to the unquestioned ace of the Giants Tim Lincecum. Atlanta is still not hitting, but timely knocks are keeping them close to SFG in all games in the 2010 NLDS.

Giants vs Braves NLDS Prediction for Game 4:
Moneyline Prediction (TOP PLAY) – With the Atlanta Braves coming through for me in game two, I feel comfortable in taking them here in this spot. Yet another game at home they should do well. Sort of getting a doubt about this one, in the fact of it seeming to stay low and close. The Braves should realize now that they can have a game won and lost pretty quickly. After rallying to come back and than the Giants to do the same was painful to see and I didn’t even have a segregated interest in either squad Sunday.
Game Total Prediction – This one is going over, before I had even saw the line, I thought that as long as it’s no higher than 7.5 that I would take the over. With these two pitchers ERAs over seven already, I think the late-inning heroics offered last night has shown, both these teams that they can both score. Here is hoping that the Giants wait until the Braves starter in Derek Lowe departs before they do so.
